I used this material as a weed barrier for a hillside, which I then covered with pine straw. This non woven material does not slip when you walk on it, unlike the woven PE material (so better for sloped areas). It's thick, so you'll need heavy duty landscape pins, but it should last for many years.

Worked great for the my French drain.

this product has worked great thus far... rainy season hasnt begun yet, fingers crossed it keeps the weeds out!

I got this non woven fabric brcousr it doesnt stretch like lawn scape fabrics so it wont let in dirt or debrie into my leach field pluse im making a french drain with it also i highly recommend this product

This fabric met my needs for a french drain cut-off ditch. The fabric seemed to have thin patches. I could easily see through areas of the fabric and it easily tore. However, I am satisfied with the results.

This weed fabric seems to be plenty thick for controlling weeds! I am just a little concerned about how after I spilt some water on the new fabric, it beaded up, as opposed to soaking thru like it's supposed to. Maybe because it's new? We'll see. If this next rain runs off of it like the woven style is apt to do, I'm not going to be too happy.
