Yes, This is a generator plug
If you have been trying to wire the generator side of your alternate power source, this is it. I know it says 125/250V like it's 3 phase. I know it says 3 pole , 4 wire like it's 3 phase. It says that because it is. But, it is ALSO the part you need to plug your 30 amp L14-30R / L14-30P cord into. To remember the male/female of what you are working with, the "R" is receptacle and the "P" is plug. Good luck!
