These are easy to install, and solve a huge problem of too many small power ports. Usually I would have to get a power strip to plug-in all of the small things that require a USB using their individual power plugs. This will accommodate two USB ports as well as two standard AC plugs. They are easy to install and fit in a standard wall electrical box.

It has been an excellent product to use as my grand-children have a ton of phones, lap-tops, and tablets that seem to need to be constantly charged when they visit. It is nice as it is a direct replacement for an existing receptacle. The directions are clear and the outlets are clearly marked. You don't need to hire an electrician as it is a simple install.

I have been slowly replacing outlets in key areas of my house with outlets that also contain USB charging. This one offers 4a 5V (total across two ports) of charging power. It meets CEC guidelines with 87% efficiency and 50mW/h on standby. Be nice if they could get the standby down even further as I have now 8 outlets in the house. This black colored one is going in our media room so the kids can charge their phones and pads when there. Easy install with stab in (with screw clamp) wiring. So far, they work well as long as you have small 110v plugs in at the same time. If they last two years I'll be happy as I assume the next USB charging standard will come along.

This is a great way to expand the use of your wall outlets. We all have multiple USB related items now, and I often found myself having to spread my charing items throughout the house. This outlet allows me to use the outlet to charge multiple things, our split the usage between regular items and USB items. The outlets are also tamper resistant. Which is great if you have little ones. Installation was easy, the hardest part was getting the old outlets out. The directions are clear and the outlets are clearly marked. You don't need to hire an electrician and it's ok if this is the first outlet you've ever attempted. You can do it.

I really like these outlets. Smooth black finish and a little smaller compared to the regular ones that were replaced, something to consider. The outlet is 3 pieces, faceplate that slides on the 2nd face plate that is screwed into the outlet itself. Certain chargers do not fit in between 2 USB cords when they are plugged in. I recommend these for a nice upgrade in any room.

I am reviewing the ELEGRP 4 AMP USB Dual Type A in wall charger with 15 Amp Duplex outlets with safety plug, wall plate included. I selected the black color and am very pleased with them. They can easily be found on the white walls, so no trouble finding a charger location. I also really like that the wall cover plates snap in place. No more dealing with those tiny cover plate screws. The plugs also have safety guards to prevent kids sticking anything in the high voltage sockets. Nice feature. These are so convenient to have around the house. Now I can charge my devices where I sit and not have to go find a power brick. I recommend this to all my friends.

This is my review of the ELEGRP 4 AMP USB Dual Type A wall outlet in gray. Let me first mention that the receptacle is not a 20 Amp rated device as it is advertised. It is stamped on it that it is only rated at 15 Amps. I was disappointed with that since I expected 20 Amp receptacles. I knocked off one star in my review for that reason. I had a couple places that 15 Amp devices were sufficient so I installed them. I am changing over the outlets in key areas in my home so I can have easy access to fast USB charging. I do like the gray color as it goes with my walls. I wanted a different color so I can easily tell which outlets have the USB ports from a distance. It is also easier to tell someone visiting to 'look for a gray outlet' when they want to charge their phone. These are so convenient now. No more power bricks!

These wall chargers are stylish, functional, and relatively easy to install. I like the black finish that these fixtures come with. The plate and adapter snap onto the fixture. The wiring was easy enough as the wires slide into the back of the fixture and get tightened down with bolts on the sides. Where I ran into a little difficulty was the position of the ground wire as compared to the extra plastic for the fixture screw is placed in the box I had to really be careful to make sure the wires were all routed in such a way as to allow for the larger fixture to fit into the box (I replaced a standard plug which easily fit). I ended up trimming a lot of wire off and now do not have a lot of excess for the next time this has to be replaced. That said, the house was built in 1980 and the box is from that period and not designed for anything larger than a standard outlet. However, after I routed the wires and got this installed, it works great. I like that I can have a couple of plugs and a couple of USB cords plugged in at the same time. However, I did notice that the standard plugs need to be no larger than the face of the outlet (or what a traditional plug would have) otherwise, there’s not enough room to get a plug and the USB cords plugged in at the same time. In other words, no adapters and USB at the same time. Overall, I am happy with this and I’m looking forward to replacing more of these in the house.
