City Pack Backpack

IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A PERFECT SMALL BACKPACK TO CARRY SEVERAL THINGS. THIS IS NOT TOO BIG AND NOT TOO SMALL

Almost perfect

The Kipling City Zip Mini B was nearly 100% perfect. I chose it because it has zips on the side pockets. I wish there was a zipper on the middle compartment, but the absence of a zip hasn’t caused too much of a problem. I just make sure I’m careful how I use it. I love the bright pink colour, and it’s comfortable to wear. The capacity is good, and slightly more than my previous Kipling “Firefly Up” back pack. All in all, my research paid off, and I consider I chose well. Very efficient service and delivery too.

Versatile little backpack

I've used this on two separate trips in June. It has handled both train journeys and being squeezed into the available space in car boots well. It's not big enough for a laptop but will hold a tablet. The pockets are great and the very front one is ideal for a glasses case. It's also comfortable when wearing both shoulder straps.

Great bag

Bought for a festival due to the size and anti theft pocket. Could easily fit drinks, sun cream, even a scrunched up rain coat, with my purse and phone safe in the back pocket. Looks cute and there’s a pocket for everything. Held up in rain showers and the mud washed out without issue.

Great everyday bag

This is such a great everyday bag. It has lots of practical pockets and is lightweight and comfortable to wear. It's such a lovely colour too. It easily takes all my everyday essentials - including 2 glasses cases, wallet, phone and a small water bottle.

Fantastic small ruc sac.

My second small ruck sac like this. The first one I've had a few years and it's in constant use. I decided to treat myself to a new one. They have loads of room in them and the multiple pockets are so useful. I like the zipped compartment at the back to pop in my phone and a small purse when out and about as they are then protected from thieves. A fantastic buy and everyone comments on what a nice bag it is. So much easier to wear than a cross body bag.

Great backpack but no keyfob inside

Lovely design and exactly the right size. But as so many other reviews have said, this backpack lacks the internal key fob that used to be a standard feature on Kipling bags. Such a pity a basic safety feature has been removed from this range. Otherwise excellent.

Ideal small backpack

Very pleased with this bag. Ideal for a day's outing, lightweight, lots of pockets, quality material. Would have liked an integral key catch as on my previous Kipling bag. Ordering easy, delivery very quick. I recommend this company!

Long Lasting & Durable

I bought this mini backpack about 5 years ago. I carry it everyday and it is still in perfect condition. Eventhough it appears to be smal, it can hold a lot of stuff…and believe me, I pack a lot of stuff into it. it is very durable and not one seam has ripped. also I like the many pockets that is has. This is an excellent backpack/purse to have. I like it so much I bought a second one in a golden-y color but the black one is still my favorite since the color is so versatile.

Kipling. Best bags EVER!

I had the City Pack MiINI, after a year of trying to fit 10 pounds of stuff in a 5 pound bag I gave up and ordered the larger City Pack Backpack! Just got it yesterday and I’m so happy with it! I can stuff EVERYTHING in this bag with room to spare! I even have room for my 24oz water bottle! I appreciate the padded straps since I carry a lot in mine. My only complaint is the zipper on the main compartment….I wish it had a double zip like the City Pack MINI but I know I will have this bag for years. I love it!

Luvs it

I LOVE THIS. I’ve been looking for YEARS for the perfect everyday backpack for me. I like all the compartments, especially the front “pouch”. It’s light, cute, holds all my things, and I can throw my MacBook Pro in there on days I need it. All without being a large bulky backpack. I’m so happy with it. My only complaint is the straps adjustment gets loose throughout the day. I tend to re tighten them everyday at least once. I don’t mind it too much though.

Bag & Backpack

Wanted matching bag and backpack for travelling, but not too large, really like Kipling but couldn't afford both. I then found this company, had a query about the size of a bag and sent them a message. Within 24-hours I received a reply, advising me on what they thought would fill my requirements.

Neat design, but the barely cushioned straps seem positioned for customers with really broad shoulders

I love Kipling products and have bought them for many years. They are lightweight, sturdy, and well designed. This is the first disappointment. The straps are apparently not positioned right for a woman's torso and make the backpack uncomfortable to wear; they seem to be designed for a wearer with unusually broad shoulders. Also, the scant padding on the straps is insufficient to cushion the weight of the pack when it is filled. (I have two other ordinary backpacks that hang snugly on my shoulders and that feel really comfortable on my body even when packed full of stuff.) Otherwise the design is very neat, but I doubt that I will use this pack very often, because the strap problems are very annoying.

The perfect personal item bag

I was in the hunt for a lightweight travel backpack and this does the trick. I’ve taken it on road-trips and on flights and it never fails me. The size is perfect for under the seats in planes. The size is also perfect for my essential bag my tech bag, plus so many zippers and pockets to hold my wallet, phone, keys, masks, and even a 32 oz water bottle if you really want to stuff it. The material is perfect and I’m obsessed with the color I got. I even added pins to make it fun and even after I’ve moved some pins around because of its material it just takes a couple hours for the holes to go away. I got this at the perfect time when Kipling was doing their 30% off plus the extra 5% with my target red card!
