I love the extra room Artist (my red eared slider that is 1+ years old) has to swim. Super simple to put together. I added a platform ONLY because my cat liked to hop on the aquarium screened cover before I got the new topper.

Love this concept. I measured and it should have fit better though. This may be user error. It is not gripping well, and I need to reinforce it somehow. It rattles when the turtles jump back in the water. I worry it will work its way lose and fall off. Decent quality, hard plastic. Strong chemical/plastic smell when you open it. I would wash and dry it well before use. Without chemicals of course.

Mr Turtle loves this topper. Makes for so much more swimming space in his 55 gal aquarium. Took him about 3 days to venture into it but once he did it's hard to keep him out of it.

Finally a way for my Bella to bask and have full use of her tank! It’s easy to put together easy for her to use easy to clean and she can still get her rays!

I got this filter and it overheated and broke a few days after I bought it and set it up. I have one from here that’s still working but it’s old, and since I have two turtles I needed two filters.

The basking topper is everything and more than we expected .. more importantly the turtle loves it and she made her self familiar right away too which was pleasing to watch.

I love this for my 🐢 turtles!!! They love it too. I highly recommend this product if you have water turtles. They enjoy the tank being able to fill to top with water to swim and they love basking in the warm light and being dry.

I had to buy an extra piece that costs $30 to make this fit a 50 gallon tank. The reason I purchased this is because it says fits tanks 20-50 gallon.

Love this Item!

My map turtle had no problem getting up the ramp and she is quite large. This gives her more room to swim which she loves.

The bad thing about the baskin topper is: %231. the only thing to hold it to the tank are two small suction cups that do not stick very well and are too small to hold anything in place %232. there is nothing to hold the clear top on at all %233. it is small in size and only and the turtle opening is very narrow.

My turtles heating lamp melted the top of the plastic so I can no longer use that heater which is unfortunate. Now that my turtle is bigger he is finally climbing up and using the platform which is great! It makes there be a lot more room for him to swim!
