Broke
Mine broke after I used it so my suggestion is to be careful with it.
Have to 10” red slider turtles use it all the time
doesn’t support weight well
It’s a great size and great idea for platform. It does need additional support to lock platforms in place, it doesn’t support the weight of my turtle and tilts easily. My turtle unable to be completely out of the water because it sinks under his weight and he slides of it, defeats the purpose of being a dry spot for turtle to bask. Not very thought through design. I wouldn’t recommend, especially if your turtle is on larger size.
Large basking platform that will hold some weight.
I have a 75 gallon tank and this thing easily takes up 1/4 of the space. My turtle is about 4-5” from front to back and the platform barely moves nor does it start to sink. More suited for larger turtles in larger tanks IMO.
Loved it!
Took a few hours to get comfortable but caught her basking at night! She is an adult 7 inch slider. The platform had no problem with her weight. It did form a puddle with no where for the water to go though. The suction cups got the job done. Did not budge from her ramming at it. She loves the underside of the platform
Larger than I expected very happy with the product.
Its okay
The biggest complaint I have is that it doesnt stay afloat. When my turtle gets on, it obviously tilts a bit (even with the pebbles on it) and the platform gets stuck on the ridges and stays under water. It gets very annoying , especially when you have to fix it all the time.
This is going to be nice when my tortoise gets older, it was too big to put in the original pen that I bought so I’m gonna save it for when I move him to a larger enclosure
my turtles are very skidish of it. after 7 days still not liking it
Turtles didn't like it
I thought it was awesome but the turtles didn't. I have 6 turtles and not 1 of them used or liked this platform. I ended up taking it away and putting in an old log I found.
Pretty good
Fits 59 gal tank assembly easy. Only complaint is that when turtle gets on water stays in basking spit which makes me worry about shift shell and not being able to dry completely properly. However my turtle loves it. It doesn’t take away quite a bit of swim space in the tank though
Very Pleased
It was delivered sooner than what I thought. It was easy to put together %26 my painted turtle seems to be as pleased as I am. If not maybe even a little more than me.
For big tanks bigger than 29”
It’s really nice
Great product.
Great product. Works great. My turtle has no problem getting up and down the ramp.
Great ramp
This ramp is awesome but it was too big for our 20 gallon tank.
Perfect very difficult to find a basting like large enough for my adult turtle and the tank this workout beautifully my turtle loves it
Almost perfect
Got this large platform for our 8y.o. painted turtle. He has gotten so big that the platforms that suction to the side of the tank were always leaning and never dry. Took him just a couple hours to figure out how to get on the platform - after biting the ramp a few times for good measure. It is in a 40 gal tank and takes up a considerable amount of space so it may not be the best for small tanks. We keep his tank about 3/4 full so he still has lots of room to swim under it. My only complaint is the texture on the uprights. It’s supposed to look like coiled rope which is cute, but it will be hard to keep free of algae and the turtle doesn’t care what it looks like. Also we drilled holes in the indentation at the back of the platform like others suggested so water would not get in there and stagnate.
Turtle trash
Terrible product. The ramp was rendered useless within a month. The turtles weren't even using it. The turtles won't use the dock at all. I would recommend purchasing something else.
Floating turtle platform
I love it but it is to big for my tank. My Fred likes it but don't have n e room to swim in his tank. I got a 40 gallon tank and a large took up half of the space up to get a large u need about a 60 gallon n up tank. But besides that it's good to half
Great Price Good product
Sturdy and large platform, works great. Perfect for larger turtles and tanks
