Well Built!

My finish- carpenter husband is pleased with its construction and ease of putting it together. I was worried with a few of the negative reviews. The odor is the piney smell of fir it is made of. That’s ok and normal. It’s nice and light. Easy for me to move.

Bigger then I thought

This habitat work perfect for my Russian Tortoise. I was afraid it would be a little small, but it is perfect for her inside habitat.

My turtles are very like it. It has 2 difference room for dining and bedroom ? also very easy to clean?

Could definitely be better done/made

So of course already had some pre-drilled areas but you can see where the wood was split because of how deep the screw was drilled. The hinges aren't all lined up perfectly so the doors also don't lay as flat as they are supposed to. The stained job also isn't perfect & there was a small crack I noticed in the plexi but it's not in an obvious spot so I doubt my daughter will be as picky as me. BUT I will say that for the price I paid, $100 isn't bad at all for the size of it including the functions of it. We're getting our daughter a tortoise for her 9th birthday so we're sure she'll be more excited for the actual animal vs construction issues.

Flimsy, came cracked and everything drops out of the sides of it..

Poorly made, do not recommend this product

We ordered this product to upgrade our tortoise's home after having him for 20 years. The wood is super cheap. There were pieces flaking and removed from it. It was cracked and warped. The plastic covering for the plexi glass windows were manufactured into the wood; this made it incredibly difficult to remove it. We could not get the plastic removed from where the plexi glass slides into the wood. This was on the inside of the cage, were our tortoise could have eaten it. The cage smelled strong of chemicals and paint. I do not recommend this product, it is hazardous to your pet due to the poor manufacturing quality. I returned this item as I could not safely use it for my tortoise. I ordered a second one to use outdoors during the summertime, we unboxed it hoping we could use it inside in place of the first one we unboxed and was damaged. Upon unboxing the second one it was just as damaged and had the same problems as the first one.

Tortoise home

Bought this for my tortoise, he’s getting use to his new home. Light weight, like that his home dark side.

Cheap

Very cheap wood that was cracked, and warped. Plastic covering was glue onto glass and unable to fully get it removed from the wood.

Great torti coop

Easy to assemble. It will be for indoor use. If going outside recommend putting a poly finish to protect from elements.

The enclosed has a very strong chemical/paint smell. My plexiglass is deformed in some places .

POORLY AND CHEAPLY MADE

I Ordered 2 of these for my boys, both we poorly built with lots of cracks where any screws were installed prior to me receiving them. They are for Christmas and it is too late to return now. I would not recommend this product.
