inconsistent color & “Sterling black” is grey
Some tiles were noticeably lighter than others… the color was inconsistent. Luckily, I had extra tiles that I could replace the lighter ones to create a consistent look…
Easy and nice looking
It took me about four hours to do the entire bathroom (granted, not a huge bathroom) over existing linoleum. It is easy to work with - very easy to cut and shape. I would buy this again. The floor looks great!

The color and speckle pattern looked good on the floor....
The color and speckle pattern looked good on the floor. Unfortunately the sticky back did not stick very well in the corners of each square. I also used the self stick tile primer before putting tile on the floor. Had to return most of it and get a different kind of flooring.
Do not buy
Not sticky at all. After vct primer still would not stick. Ended up needing glue. The speckled finish paper peeled off while removing painters tape. Backing paper was not on even causing tiles to be stuck together out of the box.

Neutral Peel and Stick Tile
This Achim Sterling Self Adhesive Vinyl floor tile is an economical quick fix for a floor and is not intended as a long term solution. I ordered two boxes that were not exactly alike as I assumed they would be since they were both the same identifying number and color. In all, these serve the purpose and provided to a young person the first time experience of putting down her own floor tile. Some stuck, some sort of stuck and some did not stick. Also, the tile are thin and easy enough to cut with scissors. Plain in color and pattern, very neutral. She seems happy with her results.
Look and quality were very nice. The adhesive was not the greatest and extra glue was needed to secure tiles. Overall, good purchase.

I used this product along with a speckled white tile over 25 years ago in my Beauty Salon and I have been very pleased with it's durability. I recently ordered it again to repair water damage in a bathroom and the product I received was approximately 1/2 as thick as the one I bought before.
