I absolutely LOVE this sink. It is huge! The depth makes it deep enough to have dishes in the sink without them taking up the entire sink and not being able to turn on the water and get to the faucet. It is made of quality metal. The template for the sink that came with the instructions, made it very easy and clear how to cut the hole in the countertop for the sink. It was exactly to scale. I cut the hole for our sink in our Birch wood butcher block countertops myself with a jigsaw after tracing the template that came with the instructions onto the wood. The instructions made it clear how to add the support braces and cutting the cabinet base to the cabinets before putting in the sink. The instructions were great. The quality of this sink is excellent and I will definitely be ordering more products from them as we continue to do more renovations to our home this upcoming year. I would suggest getting the sink that comes with the drain grid that protects the bottom interior of the sink and the 3-piece basket strainer drain, as they are expensive separately and you want the drain to use the sink. You will want the protective grid for the bottom to protect it from scratches because the sink will scratch easily from silverware being thrown in there. My husband put silverware in there and it slightly scratched the bottom so I went to a local store and got some silicon clear mats for the bottom for ours because the one the fits our sink is out of stock on the Swiss Madison website. I would definitely recommend this sink to others who want a farmhouse style sink. It is definitely worth the money and will last a long time. I purchase the Black stainless to match our other appliances and it is beautiful. I am having to retrofit the cabinets now to change the configuration of the doors since it changes the cabinet fronts. However, I went and got slide baskets from Lowe's and added them to the cabinet doors below the sink since I no longer have wood below our sink to add the doors back to. We didn't have a complete wood base there after we had to cut the cabinet to install the sink. We had a hollow shell cabinet not a cabinet that had wood between the doors recessed between the cabinet insides. So I improvised and got the slide drawer insides and attached the wooden door to the slide drawer with the hardware that goes with the slide drawer (You have to buy the slide drawer and door attachment pieces separately). I am completely happy with my sink and would buy it again and recommend it to others!
