I really love this vertical offset smoker , you can cook your meat in so many ways and experiment something new every time and also is great that can hold your temperature long enough

First off, the instructions state 30 minutes to put this together. ha! I seasoned it well for a good 5 hours. While seasoning I had 3 sensors in it, placed across the grill area. Oddly, the furthest away was hotter than the middle. This morning I started a 14 lb. brisket. Started at 6AM, it is now 9:00PM and my brisket is at 185 degrees. It's coming up but this is an impossible long cook. I have no clue where the good heat is. I smoked better in my little weber smoker.

I’ve really enjoyed this grill so far. It’s well built and sturdy. It does require a lot more charcoal than I expected to stay at temp, but I’ve never had a grill this big so it will take some getting use to.

I'm in love with my new Dyna-Glo Signature Series Barrel Charcoal Grill. I've converted my LarderRoom grill into the offset smoker by adding the optional Smoker Box (also providing additional cooking space). This monster has over 950 square inches of cooking area. It's huge. I also love the removable charcoal grate, ash pan and the porcelain enameled steel cooking grates. Can't wait to get it seasoned & dialed in!

Easy to control the temperature as long as you are willing to stay close to watch and feed it, nice for smoking and cooking. Big cooking area and seems sturdy for the price. I considered buying a high end custom model before this one, but once you understand they will all rust, you can buy 6 smoker like this for the price of 1 high end, and they might last the same time due to rust.

Bought as a birthday gift for my dad as an upgrade for his 15 year old charcoal grill. He is obsessed. Capacity is massive and it is perfect for smoking cheeses. For some reason we couldn't find a cover sold by Dyna-Glo for this grill if you have the smoker attached, but the Oklahoma Joe's brand one sold by Home Depot fits like a glove (OKLAHOMA JOE'S Highland Offset Smoker Cover, SKU# 315422172)

We are a family that prefers charcoal BBQ and Smoking. Our new Dyna-Glo doesn’t seem to be a barn burner off the shelf, but it provides the style of BBQ and Outdoor smoking that we are accustomed to. The kicker is the charcoal slider that makes it easy to load more charcoal or our favorite wood chips, including branches from our plum tree! This allows us great control over cooking heat vs. smoke time! So far so good!
