This toilet flush replacement kit is a blessing. It save a ton of water and money over the long run. Although the installation is quite straight forward, it takes a little patience to set things right in terms of calibrating the water flow for the two stages of the flush. Once you get it right by adjusting the level notches, there should be no issues. All in all, I am highly satisfied with the product.

The Danco toilet kit was easy to install and works great

This is the second Danco dual flush valve I've purchased, having been happy with the first. Installation was straightforward, in no small part due to having navigated the instructions the first time around. The instructions are good, but I think they could be improved. Be patient. I anticipate purchasing two more soon.

Been working great more than 1 year so far

60-year-old female here. I consider myself barely handy. Had no issues installing this, after reading the instructions and watching a couple of videos on Youtube. I knocked a star off because it's loud relative to our previous standard flush kit (but we got used to it), and also because Lowe's does not keep it in stock at our local store. Now I have another toilet that's leaking and I can't go grab another one of these today.

Wish I had invented this. Works perfectly as an efficient replacement. Saved water and time when used to replace old flapper style flush mechanism.

Installation relatively easy… tuning/adjusting flush volume/rate very frustrating. Ultimately returned to HD for refund.

It works passably. Two odd problems: occasionally it suddenly runs a bit of water through for like 10 seconds. Perhaps I’ve installed it a bit wrong. Also, it is quite difficult to reliably get the lighter flush to happen. Though the handle has two parts, both seem to flush identically.

Easy to install

I have never had to replace anything. As far as plumbing is concerned, however, between me and my daughter, we were able to replace the unit. While the instructions are detailed with pictures. It was not enough for me. I had to use a YouTube video for more thorough step by step instructions. Wish Danco had created their own. Now our toliet flushes when before it didn't. I'm happy I didn't have to pay a plumber to do this quick and easy install. I saved myself a lot of money!

You'll repair these more then you ever should

4th time in 3yrs the same exact part has failed and needs to be replaced on this kit Making them purposely weak to fail and replace/repair.

Pleased with the performance...

I installed 2 of these in my house. About a couple years between the 2. Lates design is a little more simplified for an easier install. Seem to be performing as designed and advertised> I'm happy with them. Save on water!

Improvements can be made in the design!

Trying to cut some water usage/cost to the house and decided to give these a try. Replace old ball and flange system in three toilets with these. Pretty easy to install if you just remember that many of these have opposite threading that you are accustomed to (i.e. clockwise to loosen and counter clockwise to tighten, other than handle). The one draw back to this and the push button system is that once installed, the toilet seat lid no longer rests on the toilet tank lid (as it normally did) when the toilet seat lid is left opened. Instead, the toilet seat lid now rests on the flush handle. This is a bit annoying and poorly designed for functionality. I purchased the push button type first but realized it could be difficult to push behind an opened toilet seat lid, so I returned it for the handle version. The handle version is a bit better but still not ideal. As for the adjustments, I left the "#2" (green) flush to factory setting (one click from bottom) and used the "#1" flush all the way to the bottom (blue). I also had to mini-valve fully opened.
