Lovely heft; but cleaning not perfect

This is larger than I expected it to be at approximately 12cm in diameter (the blade is roughly 10cm). It feels good in the hand and cuts even the hardest crust very well. My issue is in the cleaning. To clean the unit you need to dismantle it. The blade cover comes off with a twist and a pull and then you have to fiddle a bit with the blade to force it out of the centre spindle. I'd have thought the collective minds at Joseph Joseph might have come up with something less concerning, i.e. not having to manhandle the blade itself so directly. Purchased in an Ocado sale, so I feel I paid a very fair price and don't regret my purchase.

Well worth the small price.

This was a replacement for a similar one which had reached its end after many years of service. The new one has the same quality steel, with a solid feel to it. It can be dismantled for thorough cleaning and will hopefully give the same long service. So far, so good.

Liegt gut in der Hand, ist einfach zu reinigen und sieht toll aus. Einzig das Schärfen der Klinge könnte schwierig werden.

Commande jamais reçue

Je suis stupéfaite : J'attends depuis 3 semaines (et 3 mails au service client qui ne répond pas et qui est injoignable par téléphone). J'ai commandé 4 articles il y a près d'un mois, j'ai reçu un seul article et n'ai jamais reçu les autres. Je leur ai donné 8 jours (on est à 6 jours) avant de saisir la DGCCRF par principe.

Disappointing

Good idea but was disappointed with it. Just isn't sharp enough, barely cuts through the pizza base and no chance with the crust. Good design, I was excited to have one that felt safer to store in the drawer but nope. Packaging was a nightmare to get off but that sort of thing isn't a huge deal.
