I was so excited to get this and have a lo-cal egg breakfast every day, but I tried over and over, re-read the instrux, changed the water amount (which alters the cooking time), and my egg came out hard every time, I did not even get a soft egg. Hey, I can cook a hard egg without paying $30 for another appliance to take up space on my counter, and I can cook a soft egg in the microwave. Why doesn't this make the perfect poached egg as promised???

Love this little appliance! It makes perfect poached eggs and the best mini omelets. Easy to use, easy to clean and takes up very little room in the pantry. Highly recommend.

A novelty item instead of an appliance

Doesn't cook eggs evenly, leaves them soggy. Bought this to save time on cooking egg bites but was just a waste of money. Better off using a silicone ring on a stove to cook egg bites or baking eggs in a muffin pan.

Steamed egg

The product description is deceiving. This is more of an egg steamer. The eggs do not taste at all like the Starbucks egg bites. The product does not even beep when done, do you have to diligently be watching when the light turns off.

Delicious egg bakes or poached eggs every time. The yolks are medium/soft but solid when cooked.

I love being able to poach my eggs - only issue is that it does not have an auto off feature. So you have to watch it cook and turn it off manually.
