Water doesn't travel down the chain very well. I have seen others that it does and this one doesn't shoots water all over the place

Fish mouth faces down

Seems to work well. Worked best when it was raining hard, kinda splatters with softer rain. But overall makes a cool water feature.

The shipping was fast and I really like the size of the chain links and the fish. I’m going to put it under a roof valley that has an enormous amount of water falling when it rains and I’m pretty sure this will help. After I put this up, there will be more rain chains popping up in the neighborhood. Well worth the money, very unique and will help with the out of control water coming off my roof.

Overall a nicely designed and good product. hollow core chain links may not hold in wind events, will see. Works well with copper basins with river stones for ballast.

Very attractive product. I bought two, one for each rain barrel. They were easy to install and the large chain rings made it easy to add or subtract length. My main concern is that the tags came with a warning that the product may contain lead. Was this why it was on sale? Now I'm not so sure I want my plant water flowing down the fish & the chainrings & into the barrels, if there is some chemical leaching going on. Only time will tell (too early in the season to be watering plants).

Perfect solution

I've been searching for something to replace my downspout after removing all gutters (pine needles do nothing but clog gutters and cause dry rot here in NE Texas). The rain chain is the perfect solution!

I initially was unable to open my purchase for nearly six months and would have wrote sooner. Although, late in commenting, upon viewing my purchase, I was beyond delighted at how beautiful this product was! The quality is top notch! I had also ordered the collection pan too, but it did not arrive with my purchase. I called (5 1/2 months later), and they immediately sent another. Quality and great service, I will definitely be purchasing more things in my immediate future!!!

Looks good but needs some modification to really channel the water. I will be adding another small linked chain through the larger, or use small rope doing the same in order to truly direct all the water from the downspout to a pan at the bottom that I added. Seems they could have done a better job by adding this already. This Rain Chain worked just enough for me not to send it back, especially for the hefty price tag! Like I said, I will have to do some modifications.

Exceptional! We just installed a 22 foot poly-carbonate steel awning and it has a long one inch gutter. We placed the fish rain chain on both sides because I purchased two and it looks awesome. This was one of the most enjoyable purchases I have ever made since I did not know what a rain chain was. All I need now are the trays. I am truly loving this look.

I had to return this item. The water overflowed...

I had to return this item. The water overflowed the fish causing it to splash excessively. More smaller fish would probably work better. I replaced this chain with one with small buckets, which did the trick.
