Good SHEER curtains, not light filtering

Good quality curtains, look nice on the window, but are way too transparent for being classified as light filtering. They are practically sheer, you can easily see through them, and the sun comes into room almost unobstructed. No privacy at dark time (one can easily make out the contents of the room from the outside, as my photo shows) and no protection from the sun in daytime. Although I liked the color (dove gray) and the fabric, had to return them, as they were not doing the job.

Elegant and natural

These are beautiful, color is neutral natural -- near but not beige and not like a light muslin. Texture is a very visible weave but not too loose like a burlap. There are threads almost darker here and there -- very like linen but no slubs. They have a "heavy" hanging weight not at all wispy. Grommet are a soft finish nickle. Now I've seen them, I'm ordering more.
