Perfect solution for the flood light that shines on our American flag. We previously had a bare bulb but that caused too much brightness for the neighbors. This product narrowed the light beam down to a narrow area that puts the light exactly where we want it.

Initially I bought one of these lighting accessories to try it, then purchased two more. A simple design that fits over the light bulb in fixtures where the bulb faces downward, turning a bright 360 degree glare into a soft downward spotlight with a lovely arch of light glow on the wall face.

I purchased these to make the lights on my house...

I purchased these to make the lights on my house and garage compatible with dark sky requirements. I was doubtful and they weren't the easiest to attach, though it could be the light fixture, however the effect is actually nice. It created a nice ambience while still providing the security I wanted.

They work well for blocking the glaring light at night for outside doorway lights and transforming entry lights to "accent" lights. The actual product has 4 clips on the top (the picture does not look like the product). The black painted body holds up well outside, but the clips get rusty with time. As simple as this is, there seems to be nothing else like it out there.
