It's great! I installed it myself! Needed only a screwdriver, to tighten the screw when in place. The soft-close feature was an unexpected bonus.

Expensive but good quality

This toilet seat was easy to install. It is expensive but if you want the color to match your American Standard toilet you need to buy an American Standard toilet seat. It's great that Home Depot sells the replacement seats since you can return them to the store if you happen to order the incorrect one. It is plastic but it wipes clean and you can scrub it unlike the wooden ones which become marred after scrubbing. The soft close is an added bonus.

The seat seems rather flimsy for the $60 price, as compared to a Bemus seat installed on another of our toilets. The 2 plastic bolts that hold it in place loosen quickly and have to be tightened every few days. I don't know if there may be a problem with the part that screws onto the underside of the "bolt" that may be causing the problem. However, it closes on its own nicely and quietly. The linen color matches the toilet well.

The clamps holding the seat in place have a tendency to release, causing the seat to slide.

Perfect match with the toilet and tank I purchased from the same Wayfair website.

Perfect Bone Color Match for Older Models

The slow-close feature means no more slamming toilet seat in the middle of the night. Easy removal makes it exceptionally easy to clean.

Definitely a Champion

Although there are many models, only a few had dimensions that fit my toilet. I decided on the smaller Champion after reading a one star review of the Bedminster which recommended the Champion. I ordered three for my 20 year old toilets. Despite costing more than twice the Bedminster, I am very satisfied with the ease of installation, slow closing in seconds rather than minutes, and the easy quick release for cleaning.
