low pressure

I bought this item last year but I am unsatisfied with it. The pressure is low and it takes a long time to finish taking a shower. We've called a handyman and plumber, but they couldn't fix it because the hose attached to the panel is too small, causing low pressure. I just wasted my money buying this product and paying the handyman.

The shower panel looks good and I have been using it for about a year now. No problems as such so far. The quality feels great. The water pressure from none of the showers is good. But I guess you will eventually get used to it. Although almost all the parts of the panel are of good quality but the hand shower holder is of bad quality. It is plastic with silver paint. Not sure why they made this choice. I ended up buying a sturdy stick on hand shower holder instead. The massage jets doesn't have a great deal of water pressure either. Not sure if that's how it is supposed to be. One of the things that I love is the Tub Filler which is helpful for us to quickly wash your feet or fill up a bucket. Many of the panels don't provide this. The flow of water is quiet. As the body is brushed metal you don't get to see a lot of water spots there and it is easy to clean as well. So far, i haven't noticed any rust.

Just installed two of these to replace two older showers in my home. These look great. No doubt about it. But the water pressure is an absolute joke–bordering on false advertising. The overhead rain shower is a gentle trickle, which I'm honestly OK with. But the body sprays are laughably underpowered. It has four jets, and due to gravity, the two bottom jets do an OK job shooting water, but the top two jets barely shoot water 2". They're unusable. The handle sprayer suffers the same fate. Absolutely no water pressure at all. You can remove the flow restrictor on these, and maybe that would help, but these are advertised showing water shooting out of all four body jets, and you get nothing close out of the box. If you buy them, I'd highly recommend removing the restrictors before you install and seal them to your wall.

We were excited to have this installed. However, we had the same problem with the low-pressure water from the shower. After reading the reviews (I'd have done this earlier), I removed the water restrictor right above the thermostatic cartridge. I tried to remove the other two 'restrictors' right after the hot/cold water connections according to some reviews. However, it turns out those are not restrictors. Instead, those are non-return valves, which are used to prevent water back into the house water system. I did actually make some damages on the non-return valves. When I connect to cold water only, I can see the water is leaking from the other side (the hot water side), though not too much. Do I need to replace those non-return values (or backflow preventors)? If so, where can I buy it? There is nowhere in the manual mentioning the water restrictor. I know it is required by the law to have that installed. However, it should mention where it is and how to replace it. Otherwise, I'd have given a higher score.
