Very happy! I’d like to change every fan in my entire house out with a quiet one like this!

I have one major, and one minor issue with the fan:

Good but No indicator light

I chose this fan (slm-70) because it had the same dimensions as my old fan and was much quieter. Overall, I’m happy with it. However, there is no indicator light to show when it is turned on. I called Delta and apparently the Home Depot version of this fan is different and doesn’t include the light (makes you wonder what else they cut). Not a huge deal, but because the fan is quiet, it would’ve been nice to have a visual indicator of the fan being on.

You were the ones that I could find the product I was looking for which nobody seemed to have. Your service was excellent and delivery time was just as well the same. Thank you very much

Quiet !!!!!

We have had the most noisy bathroom exhaust fan for 15 years, and it didn't exhaust well either. This was not the easiest task but most of my difficulty was in removing the old unit. It is so quiet when taking a shower you don't hear it at all. And it exhausts way better than the old one too. I'm very happy with this purchase and so is my wife. We hope the quality is good and it lasts!! Home Depot was speedy on the delivery and cheaper than other retailers too.

Fan blade broke after 9 months

Fan blade broke after 9 months. Now the fan makes a racket. Annoying to be replacing a new fan already. Warranty process is not through Home Depot, but with Delta. You must call then, then receive an email, then send serial number and date code pictures to them. They say that it will take several weeks for a replacement to be sent, if they deem it is covered under warranty. Hopefully I get a warranty replacement but I'm not to impressed with the quality.

Very quiet. Works well

This fan does what it was supposed to do, which is get the air moving. I have it in a 1/2 bathroom on the wall. The depth is ideal in the wall because I only had 4 inches to spare. The motor is quiet to me, although our reference point was one from the 60's. There is a slight 3-4 second pause once you turn the switch on, and I suspect that is probably due to its energy star rating so that it doesn't power up too much. Once it starts, it gets up to speed quickly and moves the air in the room very well and we like it very much. The white grill was easy to put on using the typical spring setup that are on most of these fans. I would buy it again for the price and the unique size that I needed.

I've put in five of these inexpensive gems.

BROKE after a couple of years

It started maked a loud noise one day. I took the fan out of the housing to find a few of the fan blades had broken!

Perfect bathroom exhaust fan. It is so quiet that you will sometimes forget it is even on! Definitely the best exhaust fan we have ever seen. We put them in two of our bathrooms during a recent renovation and are happy with this choice.

This fan is simple and does just what we needed to do. Installing it was easy and it does a good job.
