Exhaust fan

I like the heat and fan but thought from the description it had a light also, little disappointed. Especially for the price

BEWARE: Does not come with a light

Yes, it cost as much as a heat/vent/light. But for some crazy reason this model DOES NOT have a light

ANEMIC!

While the exhaust fan function is adequate the heater/fan is anemic at 1300 watts. Heck, my wife's handheld hair dryer is 1500 watts. Recommend installing a baseboard heater and then a exhaust fan in the ceiling. So we will still be using our oilfield space heater in the bathroom.

Was clear that it did have a light. Had to call Nuttone and order one for it.

Absolutely no installation instructions included

I haven't yet installed this as I am trying to piece together the riddle of installation:

Partially worthless

So called damper wil not stay closed thereby causing any heated air to be pulled out in the winter, you would think they could come up with something better than a cheap plastic "damper".

Horrible design! Have to take it completely apart

You have to take this thing completely apart to be able to put it together! The clip on one of the screws to remove the heater is messed up and can’t loosen it to remove the heater assembly. This is the FIRST step. For the amount of money paid for this item you should not have to take it completely apart to wire it!!! I guess I will have to return it and I have my old broken one removed with wires hanging from my ceiling

Did not realize this model does not have a light although it has a light cover. I guess I assumed there would be a place for a lightbulb behind the light bulb cover.

Installation and quality issues

First, the instructions are not very clear and illustrations are poor. 2nd, you have to disassemble/remove heater and exhaust fans - per the instructions- in order to install the mounting brackets and wiring. 3rd quality control and mfg issue- one of the screws needed to loosen to remove heater was stripped from factory and couldn’t be removed. I had to return and wait another week for replacement.

Works as advertised

Works as advertised. Easily replaced and installed a 20 year old earlier version of this model. Good value!

Friend had the same model installed in her bathroom remodel. Very noisy, especially when heat is on. I returned mine and got a different brand.

Perfect for my 1/2 bath.

I used this in a 1/2 bath that is off the front hall and gets chilly. Heat comes on fast. The fan is a bit noisy but works well.

It doesn't heat up the bathroom as quickly as we would have liked but it still will be helpful in the winter.Technically, it should be a 5 as it does work. It was my fault for not getting a powerful enough unit, but our bathroom isn't that big so, based on what I read before purchasing, should be strong enough to heat it a little better. In short, go more powerful to play it safe. It looks good and works though.
