Looks great! Cant wait to install!
Works well but electrically tricky to deal with
Recommend as option to consider for a bathroom fan + light + night light. I did DIY install in small full bathroom. Had 14-3 in ceiling, so only wired fan and night light. I used a Lutron timer switch, and a Leviton dual throw switch to the existing lighting and night light. Nits:
Works great
Have not installed yet but I have had it out of the box. More to come.
Customer Service was exceptional
Love that these aren’t like a standard bathroom vent. They have light and look great with the vanity lights I purchased. Also pretty quiet
5 Stars
This light is really slim and the fan is very quiet. The installation process was easy and straightforward. This is a great product and the price was better than the box store.
Nice Product
Coordinates well with the other chrome fixtures. Fairly straight forward to install
3 Stars
Love the color but it does have a pinkish tint like rose gold instead of copper. The spray nozzle started leaking after a few months
[Rewarded Review] stylish in black
We had a normal everyday square white lighted exhaust fan in the bathroom. Time to upgrade. The black surround just makes it look so much more pleasing to the eye. Install was easy, as it was a replacement of existing. All wires were pre-stripped, and easy pop in connectors (picture 1). If you connect the wires separately, this has the ability to run fan & light independently of 1 another. The 3 light choices is a nice feature, especially the low night light setting (our original was just on or off). It is very quiet as product details indicated, much quieter than the 1 installed in 2015. Also, it said powerful suction; & the amount of gap at light cover and around side (pics 2 &3) make this a true statement, in my opinion. Technology upgrades have us very pleased with this product. Simple, yet stylish.
[Rewarded Review] Not your typical bath exhaust fan.
If you are looking for an exhaust fan/light combination, the Akicon 1390N3 Series Decorative White Fan Speed 90 CFM Ceiling Bathroom Exhaust Fan with 18-Watt Dimmable 3CCT LED Light Round is a nice option. This model will fit most decors and the design will have people asking, "is that a light or a fan?" You can proudly say it is both! The install is pretty easy if you have attic access and understand the wiring needs. The directions provided are easy to follow. You will need a hose, clamps and wire nuts to compete the job.
[Rewarded Review] Bathroom fan
This is a big bathroom fan and meant for moving air and providing great lighting! Got this because our original fan just wasn’t moving enough air in our master bathroom. We wanted something with a light too and this fit the bill. It was larger in diameter than I expected but the lighting is great. Air flow looks to be good and should be a big improvement!
[Rewarded Review] Nice, but expect some extra work.
The Akicon 1390N3 Series Decorative White Fan Speed 90 CFM Ceiling Bathroom Exhaust Fan with 18-Watt Dimmable 3CCT LED Light Roundseems to be a decent bathroom fan with a few extra features.
[Rewarded Review] 4 GOOD REASONS TO BUY AKICON CEILING FAN
Why choose Akicon ceiling fan? Here are my reasons (1) It has a DC motor which means it will be super quiet (1.5 sones) and last a long time (2) It has a unique way to control the light's color that doesn't require a remote control (see photo) (3) It has a built-in night light, if you need one. (4) 3-year limited warranty
[Rewarded Review] Includes a night light but needs 3 switches
Changing out exhaust fans can dramatically improve the ambiance of your bathroom. The Akicon 1390N3 Series Decorative White Fan Speed 90 CFM Ceiling Bathroom Exhaust Fan with 18-Watt Dimmable 3CCT LED Light Round is a great exhaust fan with some interesting features. The housing is 7.5 inches by 7.25 inches so be cautious of you opening if replacing an existing fan. For this unit you will need a 3 rocker switch meaning there are 3 independent switches required: one for the fan, another for the main light and a third for the night light. The main light has 3 color modes which are adjusted using the on off switch. This can be slightly annoying as you can easily change the color setting if you flip the light on and off too quickly. The fan provides good suction with minimal noise. When installing, you can remove the fan from the housing to utilize pre-existing holes in the housing for mounting. Overall this was a simple and quick upgrade to our water closet and provides better ventilation and lighting compared to our old unit.
[Rewarded Review] Pretty quiet and good looking
I recently got this Akicon bathroom vent fan to add to my master bathroom for two reasons. I want to help move the steam out of the room and to add a light above the shower. The light is pretty bright and this also has a nightlight. The light is the center and the nightlight is the outer ring. The fan is pretty quiet and seems to move the steam out well. This is pretty easy to install and the light easily connects to the fan . I would recommend this if you are looking for a good bathroom vent with an attractive light that doesn't look like a bathroom vent.
[Rewarded Review] Really nice looking bathroom exhaust fan
This Akicon Decorative fan is a good sized exhaust fan for any sized bathroom. The fan does not look like your typical bathroom exhaust fan, fitting so much better into any decor. The instructions provided give you step by step instructions on how to install from scratch, even showing how to cut the hole in the ceiling. The fan is very quiet and provides the exhaust every bathroom needs.
[Rewarded Review] Nice Modern Bath Fan
This Akicon fan is a good choice for replacing my old fan. It has ninety CFM with a quiet one point five sones. Good enough for a small to medium size bathroom. The round shape and silver color give a modern look. This fan unit also has LED lighting that the other fan did not have. This has 3CCT meaning, correlated color temperature. There are three eighteen watt color temperatures and a night light. Installation was easy enough. This fan also comes in a square shape and black or white.
[Rewarded Review] Attractive, Stylish and Functional, BUT...
I like the Akicon ceiling vent/fan well enough to give it a five-star rating, but simply can't do it because of two issues that really 'bug' me. First, in order to take advantage of a really GREAT feature (the three levels of light brightness selection) you have to 'toggle through multiple levels to get the light output you want. Here's how it works: turn the switch on/off to get a level. To get the next level you have to turn the switch on/off/on. To get to the 3rd level of brightness you have to turn the switch on/off/on/off/on. NOW IF YOU ONLY WANT ONE LEVEL OF LIGHT OUTPUT you simply go through the routine (off/on) until you get what you want to keep AND after a number of seconds that level will be memorized and each time you turn the light on, the fixture will remember that setting. This could have been so much easier had the manufacturer provided a remote unit with the fixture. ...or placed an external selector switch! Second issue (for me) is the fixture's junction box (think wiring). The box is SMALL. Well, smaller than small and if you want to use wire nuts to secure the wires your in for a real challenge! I've got a work around: a second, external j-box. I don't have ceiling access for my installation so I'm using the original fan's j-box/electrical wiring and running a short piece (about 3") of flexible conduit between the two boxes for the wiring. Much easier than trying to get all the wiring w/n the fan's j-box. All the foregoing being said, the fan is quite attractive, modern-looking. The sones are quite low and the unit should run quietly. The bath application is a small room and the CFM airflow should be adequate. The LED/Nightlight feature is nice.
[Rewarded Review] Nice but require 3 switches for full functionality
This Akicon exhaust fan is relatively quiet but requires 3 switches to be fully functional - one each for fan, main light and nightlight feature. I only have 2 switches/wires so installed without the nightlight - no big deal for me since I prefer total darkness. The instructions call for attic access above the install but it can be done without, assuming you can uninstall your existing fan unit which can be tricky.
