[Rewarded Review] The Akicon - Bathroom Exhaust Fan Is a good exhaust Fan

The Akicon - Bathroom Exhaust Fan with Light, 80 CFM 2-Sones, 15-Watt Dimmable 3000K/4000K/5500K 3CCT LED Light (Matte black) is a good exhaust fan. Was pleasantly surprised with it’s performance and how quite 80 CFM is. It’s good quality, dimmable and does a good job removing the steam out of the bathroom. It has a nice modern design. I would recommend this fan.

[Rewarded Review] Nice Bright and Quiet

Overall, i am quite pleased with this bathroom vent. It is much much quieter than our previous fan. The light is clean and bright. I was replacing an old ceiling fan that was square, but it had a large round circle cut out in the ceiling. Amazingly, this fan , with only a slight adjustment, fit right into that round hole. You can see I will need to caulk add a little with caulk around the edge.

[Rewarded Review] Good for small to medium sized bathrooms.

Installed during a bathroom remodeling. A pretty small full bath less than 75 square feet. Installing is pretty straight forward and comes with the mount screws. Has 2 power knockouts, with plenty of room for wire nuts, unlike some that have very little room. The fan is a little noticeable in such a small space not bad though. It moves 80 cfm, mid tier for exhaust fans, so works good in a smaller bathroom. For larger bathrooms on taco night may need larger.

[Rewarded Review] The look and performance of a ventilation fan with integrated lights that you can love without the tapping sound. Hopefully mines have a defect.

I wanted to give my ventilation fan/light a 5 star, but it has one issue. We installed it which took about a hour including removing existing fan. We heard a small hitting noise. Thought maybe fan hitting something so we have removed two more times since hoping it was a balancing problem same results. The fan is in a box not exposed to installer. Maybe the way it’s supposed to sound like this? Listen to attached video. However it is a statement looking fancy fixture. The warm light is perfect. It removes the scent and steam as advertised. Not a dealbreaker sounds much better than what it replaced.

[Rewarded Review] Well built

This bathroom fan has a nice finish, it will move a lot of air and i like that the fan and light wiring are two separate wiring sets. The light is bright, my wife and I needed a bright light in our dark bathroom. This light is so much better than the light it replaced. It was a little challenging to install but if you have a day, and a little wiring knowledge, this light/fan should be no problem to install.

[Rewarded Review] Good value fan, requires attic access to install

This is an affordable fan light that is suitable for most uses where noise isn't too much of a concern. It is fairly quiet, but probably not suitable for those that want almost no noise. I fall into that camp, I really don't like to hear exhaust fans. But it's quiet enough for me that I don't mind. My wife, on the other hand, doesn't seem to understand what I'm complaining about. So it's a personal matter.

[Rewarded Review] Great bathroom vent/light combo

This vent fan is really nice. I gave it 4 stars because of installation issues. The fit and function are really nice. The installation instructions were well written and easy to understand. The light is a bright cool white which lights up the bathroom nicely. As you can see from the photo, there are a ton of LED’s in this light.

[Rewarded Review] Quality and stylish exhaust fan.

Fantastic exhaust fan. Very easy to install. The finish on the bezel around the light seems very durable and doesn’t seem like it’s cheaply painting and will rust. The fan motor is strong but also quiet. The adjustable light for different hues is great. You can mount it from the bathroom or in the attic. It allows for either. Making the electrical connections is quick and easy. Pretty much a plug and play

[Rewarded Review] Good bathroom fan and Light

It looks good, It said matte black but it looks more like a glossy black which I like better anyways. It's real metal with a plastic light shade, it puts out a lot of light. The fan works good it is quieter than my old fan and moves more air which is a huge bonus for me. Installation is pretty straightforward, I have attic access in case I ran into issues. Overall it's a good bathroom fan.

The opaque white light bezel is plastic and can be taken off for cleaning by ~3/4 turn counter-clockwise ... Love the matte black grill - a nice departure from yer ordinary chromey look ... *** PROS ... Solid & strong ... Quiet & effective ... Bright light ... *** CONS ... Large size overpowers our narrow, sliding doored shower/tub ... Feels like you'll bump your head on the grill ... The light seems on the bright side - would recommend to wire a dimmer

[Rewarded Review] Quiet fan and nice looking.

Replaced an old noisy fan/light combo with this one. Install went very smoothly. Fan runs so quiet you can hardly tell it is running. Nice sleek look. Homeowner very pleased. Had to shim out with a 2 x 4 about 9" long on one side to attach ,but with the old fan out it was a breeze to shim to ceilng joist with screws. Hope the light has a long life because it appears to be a costly replacement.

[Rewarded Review] Very Quiet and Looks Great

The design is attractive, and the quality is very good. The mechanics of the installation are relatively simple, but installation difficulty is directly dependent on the access above the bathroom. My access was cramped and VERY warm (South FL in the summer). I don’t believe you would want to install this as a replacement if you do not have access from above. I used 2 small screws to attach the housing from the bathroom to assure correct alignment with the celing before making the final attachment from the attic, this was after 3 trips between the attic and the bathroom to check the alignment which was off each time. The cutout for the new fan was different from the existing fan and required increasing the dimension in one direction and reducing the dimension in the other. Overall, the installation was physically uncomfortable (hot and cramped) but not difficult. Full disclosure, I did not replace the existing 3” ductwork with 4”. I used a section of 4” and stepped it down to 3” using a 4” to 3” connector. I am very satisfied with the look and quietness of the Akicon ventilation fan and would recommend it to anyone who asked.

[Rewarded Review] Perfect bath fan

Slim and sleek design allows for this fan to not be super noticeable. Packaged really well in styrofoam and plastic wrap. Installation directions were easy to follow. Installation itself was very easy. The electric doesn’t require any special hookup so plug in and go. Fan itself is quiet and the 3 light design is nice for your eyes. Of course you’ll need to vent it out through the roof or side vent. You don’t want extra moisture in the attic. You’ll see in my pictures we were replacing a square fan with this round so we have some drywall work to do.

[Rewarded Review] Good fan/light with a few quirks.

This bathroom fan/light is good with a few quirks. The body is aluminum which should hold up well in a bathroom. The light cover is plastic which is not an issue. The light is an integrated LED which always makes you think about what to do when it stops working as exhaust fans are not the simplest thing to replace. The light and light cover attach to the fan with a small twist. It is not a tight fit and there is some play. The fan is quiet and will not cause the unit to rattle, but if you have kids running around upstairs you may notice it. The light has a feature that lets you change the temperature of the lighting by turning the light on-off-on quickly. It offers options but it would have been better if this option was set with a switch to avoid the setting from changes.

[Rewarded Review] Very Classy Fan & Light

This Akicon ventilation fan with LED light is exactly what I needed to complete my bathroom toilet area at my condo in Florida. We remodeled the Master Bathroom last December 2023 and the exhaust fan was so loud. Now with this new fan and LED light it will complement the area. The light is super bright and very classy. The noise level will be a fraction of the amount of noise the 2006 model we took down has. I love the brushed nickel finish and it really complimented this space.

[Rewarded Review] Powerful fan, good lighting

This is a quality fan and light combo! I appreciate the ability to adjust the lighting settings from warm to white. The installation was easy as a replacement of an older fan with similar dimensions. This light requires 6in depth. The fan works well, is quite powerful but, very quiet. This is great for quickly minimizing steam or highly humid areas! The light is adequate. It’s bright enough but not overwhelming. Overall, clean, contemporary, functional fan.

[Rewarded Review] Get what you pay for, good but not great.

Installation was pretty easy, wiring could be tough if you aren't a pro. Hardest part was removing the old one and mounting new one in place. I highly suggest make sure you have some form of stud directly next to the area where you're installing this fan. Otherwise there's no other way to mount it, I had to make a makeshift bracket because my previous fan had the joist that slide in (not option on this product).

[Rewarded Review] Quite, beautiful and decorative.

This akicon ventilation fan is very elegant and very quiet. It is dimmable 15W, 3cct, 3000/4000/5500K. It came in four pieces, making installing a little easier. It is a higher profile than my old one. It is advisable to have a second person when installing it to make sure it is level with the ceiling drywall. A short phillips screwdriver is needed to tighten the screws located by the exhaust outlet. Also, have aluminum tape to seal the duct. All in all, everybody in my house loves it.
