Phillips LEDs are the best brand out there

I decided to buy these spotlights for outdoor use. They are very heavy just like the old school halogen ones. Not made of cheap plastic. The price is about $4 more than most brands but it shows in quality. The light that is produced is identical to halogens which is hard to find. The spread of light is good too. It only makes light head on but isnt a full on spot light. Its in the middle of spot and flood which in my opinion is perfect. Having a high intensity spot light doesnt light up a whole area that great. This one lights up a whole area from far away. This is the best brand that makes LEDs that ive found so far. The main isssue with LEDs is durability, and quality of light. Incandecent lighting was just made more consistent and better but they use a ton of energy. Phillips is the closest to incandecent that ive found and they seem to last long. I have phillips LEDs from 2018 that have been used everyday and they still work.

The light color is excellent as is the CRI used in the kitchen and den can lights. Had to order them as opposed to a pickup at the store.

Great value

Very bright light. I have had these floods for over 2 years and used every day! Never had an issue. I purchased these bulbs on sale below 5 dollars apiece! Don't know of any bulb at that price that is guaranteed for 10 years!

Short life

Bought two bulbs. One lasted about 20 hours, the other 40 hours. That's being generous. Thought these LEDs would provide longer life and I would not have to get on ladder and change as often. Was I wrong.

The Phillips 120-watt equivalent PAR38 dimmable E26 LED bulb is surprisingly heavy. Unlike other bulbs of this variety the base appears to be made of glass similar to incandescent bulbs of the past. The front lens of the bulb however, is made of translucent plastic. The bulb is sufficiently bright and operates as expected both normal and dimmed settings.

[Rewarded Review] Dimmable LED

I received this Philips 120-Watt Equivalent PAR38 Dimmable E26 LED Light Bulb Bright White 3000K (1-Pack) a few days ago and am very pleased with the brightness of the LED Light it can light up a big part of your back yard when used in the floodlights. It's an indoor/outdoor light so it can be used inside as well. They are dimmable which is good for recessed lights. And they are cheaper to use than regular ordinary bulbs because of the LED which makes them bright as well. They also come with a 5 year warranty and are built to last.
