It is very nice. I wish the coiled handle part was slightly longer as my larger hands can't grip it without touching one end or the other where it is hot. Other than that though, I love it. You do need to put in some effort to season the lid or you might get some surface rust if you let it get steamy. But I did a roast in the oven with it and it did work super well for dripping the water back on while cooking.

I have used this frying at least twice a week and it still looks good. I would definately recommend this product as long you are aware that to upkeep this pan, you need to season it after you have cleaned it. I have been using the recommended oil, organic flax seed oil, place it in my over to season the pan. The bottom is smooth and I have not experienced any sticking.

My Finex is by FAR my favorite cast iron in my collection. First, it’s a beautiful piece of cookware that’s heirloom quality. It stays on my stovetop as a kitchen conversation piece.Cooking is spectacular with this pan, the smooth polished surface is great for keeping product from sticking. The handle is made to reduce heat transfer, but come on, that looks incredible!

This was a gift for my son and his fiancé who bought a new house. It’s the perfect item for them since it will last a lifetime! Also Aaron from customer service was vey helpful with the purchase

There are a few US manufacturers of smooth polished cooking surface cast iron and this is at the top of the list with regards to quality and performance. You have to think of this as a lifelong investment as opposed to replacing non stick every couple years. This pan is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!

This thing is definitely a looker. Performance wise, I do like how smooth the bottom is, but I think the factory “seasoning” is severely lacking - especially in the bottom of the pan. It still works pretty great, however. Looking forward to building up more seasoning.

I've had it for a few months now and used it frequently. The shape is handy for pouring out bacon grease, glazes etc. and haven't had any issues with it dribbling. The handle is cool to the touch on a cooktop and is large enough for me to pickup comfortably. ( I used to struggle with conventional handles size since my hands are big. ) The look is beautiful and high-end. Its not really worth the price unless you can appreciate the beauty of a well made piece everytime you use it as I do. But for me, its an heirloom piece that is a pleasure to use.
