This safety gate was easy to install and very sturdy and it's construction adds to the decor of our home. I am very pleased with it. Highly recommend.

Great - Follow Mount / Install Instructions

We bought this to block the hallway because we got a new puppy and already have two senior dogs. The gate is tall enough to avoid inviting either set to jump over, but it only closes securely when mounted to the wall - the tension mount alone does not secure it sufficiently- but the directions are really clear about that as well. If you have a kiddo or pup that will be pressing against it (or running into it) use the secure mounting method!

Works great for pets.

We bought this gate to keep our small dog from going into other areas of our house. The fit was great and we are very pleased with it. It is very simple to open and close. We are much more pleased that our dog.

Great Dog Gate

We liked this gate so much we bought it again. Nice sturdy metal construction with attractive powder coating and design. Self closing mechanism is appreciated. The door on the gate can swing in both directions with the stair top latch removed. I installed this gate in a doorframe so I could leave that door open without the dog escaping. The pressure fittings are against a curved section of the door frame, but I screwed in the provided wall cups and they have worked perfectly to hold the gate in place despite the wall cups not being completely flush to the pressure fittings. The gate extensions work great on my other gate that I have installed in a larger hallway inside the house.

This gate has worked great at keeping my toddler out of trouble areas. She’s 2 and still can’t reach over it. Also hasn’t figured out how to unlock it yet. No problems with it whatsoever we’ve had it for a year.

Did exactly what it was supposed to do and got this size to put above the stairs considering the stairs in our apartment were very steep. I like how they have the option to make it a permanent gate or not permanent with the little plastic brackets.

This is the best gate design. Attractive, strong magnet helps it stay closed. We bought a pair for our new rescue dog but we should have bought it for our human babies decades ago. Lol

Very easy to close

This is the second time we have purchased this gate. We like this gate because it is very easy to operate and we really like the auto-close feature. We have another gate that is not auto-close and it's a little finicky to close.

Nice concept but...

The reason I gave this a one-star rating is because the opening to the gate has been completely bent. This means that it's pointless to install the gate because it does not close. If you look at the pictures, where it should connect, it's gapped and does not latch at all. I'm pretty sure I was sold someone's defective return. I'll definitely return this to the store and ensure they mark this as defective. I waited too late in the day on a Friday to call Summer Infant's customer service department directly but I'll definitely be talking to them about it on Monday.

Nice gate

Love the classy design ad color to match my stair rail. The auto shut is a nice feature too. I wish the gate was wider though for carrying objects through. Made well and directions make install go smoothly.

This gate is a little bit taller than some gates I’ve used. I’m 5’10” so appreciate the extra height. Sturdy and stays put on the walls. It was easy to put together and install. We are ordering another for our stairway.

Not stepping over the gate anymore!

Finally replaced my old baby gate that divided my dog grooming room from the house! Yay for me. Gate works well and closes by itself. Doesnt always latch but I love it anyway.

We purchased this gate when our toddler was a baby, since we lived in a townhouse with an awkward shaped entryway that we needed to gate off. We were super impressed with how easy it was to install and customize to the size and shape we needed. It was a bit pricier than other options but definitely worth the money.

Sturdy, handsome and no damage to our walls!

Solid, sturdy gate we're using at top of stairs for our large bernedoodle pup for the past month. Yep, this gate is high enough and sturdy enough to be 100% effective. Huge bonus is that the gate is actually really nice looking! AND it's pressure-mounted so no damage at all to staircase banister and opposing wall! We are so glad we selected this particular gate!!

I have 2 of these gates for my home to keep my children in the kid safe areas of the house, and they work great again children! It fights off my 2, and 4 year old! It unfortunately needs to be tightened often, because it slides out after a while from shutting and opening it often.

Garbage

This is not a safe gate. Very poor quality. Doesn't latch unless it is aligned perfectly and minimal use throws the alignment off. Straight up junk.

Perfect gate for dogs !!

I purchased this gate to contain our dog in a separate room while we have company. The gate is easy to open and closes behind you. It is tall enough that our dog can not jump over it as well. I have purchased another for our bedroom. I am so pleased with the quality of the product!

Great walk through safety gate

Good quality sturdy well built product. Works great. Looks great and stylish. Easy to install on stairways, hallways, room entrances, etc. Can be mounted directly to walls using hardware supplied or mounted using rubber antislip pads purchased separately. Very secure locking mechanism when closed shut. Handles lots of use. I first noticed this gate at my grandsons daycare facility and now can see why they use this model.

Awesome gate

This gateways purchased to keep 4 very large dogs in one room, I love the door, it will close automatically unless you open it all the way, then it stays open. It goes up easy as well. So far I love it.
