Excellent craftsmanship

This Craftsman style lantern is solid brass and has lovely golden art glass. It's a little more than many lanterns but the quality is higher and the style is perfect for bungalows built in the 1920s to 1940s.

Outside lighting

I bought these lights to try to match with the rest of the house. Not totally the same but really close. They will look great once install next to the new front doors

Quality purchase

This light is 100% brass and feels very solid and well made. It comes with a lot of chain, several feet, but I used only 6 links which is about one foot. I bought the antique brass finish and it's darker than the picture, more like a worn penny, looks like copper not shiny brass. Just what I wanted. The finish has some greenish coloring around the joints. It matches an antique brass mailbox I bought online which also looked lighter than it actually is. The glass is beautiful art glass, iridescent, and when lit casts a soft, kind of yellowish light which tones down the 100w bulb - which would probably be too bright otherwise. My porch is 27 feet wide by 8 feet deep and this light is the perfect size and it provides a lot of light. Looks perfect on my 1920's bungalow. A great purchase!! By the way, ordered on a Wednesday night and had the light by noon on Friday!!!! Lighting Direct rocks!
