I love moen, I almost buy it exclusively for their quality. This kit is a big miss. Should have read the reviews before purchasing because it looks like a design flaw, two other reviews said the same thing. After installing the handle, an inch of stop tube is showing and it’s silver. For a Matte black finish this looks awful. I called moen for help and they said this is by design….. excuse me? You designed it to look bad? Anyway they said there’s a part you can buy but it doesn’t come in black… that’s helpful… then they said they can send me something to cover it. Sounds sketchy. We’ll see when it shows up. Very disappointing!

Black matte shower hose

I had this installed professionally. The black hose is a plastic covering over a regular metal hose. Plastic has ripped before first use.

I installed this faucet 3 weeks ago! Working and looking great. Having a guarantee from Moen makes it that much better!

No installation guide

Looks sleek but it's frustrating when a well known big corporation won't even bother with adding an installation guide in the box or even on their website that is full of useless promotional material. Really hope they'll get a more customer oriented competitor that will get them out of business or to think more about their customers

Black but shows brushed nickel behind handle

I purchased this for a bathroom Reno, only to be disappointed that the mixing valve body cover is brushed nickel and not black to match the rest. Was installed so that the plaster ring was flush with finished wall as per instructions. Now stands out like an eye sore.
