Dye lots could be different

I live the quality of my new sink. It’s a great size for washing pots and pans. However, the bisque color I ordered came darker than expected based on the sample received. I was told there could be variations in color based on different batches. When asked about seeing if I could get a lighter one I hit a roadblock and it would have been a real hassle to go through a return process. No easy swapping out and no help.

I absolutely love this sink! I chose the color “concrete”, which is a nice gray. The bowls are deep. I like the wire inserts at the bottom. You are given a bottle of oil with the sink. This is used to keep the sink looking nice, and to help keep water drop stains away. I use it once a week but you can do it more often. I thought this would be quite a chore, but making it my Sunday morning routine has been very easy. You must clean the sink (using bar keepers friend or Softscrub), and dry it completely first. Then apply the oil with a rag or paper towel. I bought this from Lowe’s online and also added a new Karan faucet that was suggested by them (love that, too!)

The sink is beautiful. It looks great in my kitchen. I bought it in white. I love the depth too. However, it is absolutely necessary to put a silicone protector in the bottom of the sink. Metal pans touching the white surface even momentarily leave a mark. I would not get this sink in white if I had children living in the house because it shows everything (probably to be expected in a white sink). In addition, I have to comment on the clips that hold the sink in place. My boyfriend installed this sink for me, and he installs kitchens for a living. He said these were some of the worst clips he had ever used - they were very difficult. This problem was greatly exacerbated by the fact that I have laminate countertops. They are not as think as granite and these clips requires thicker counters. To make this work, he had to build a thicker rim around the sink for the clips to attach to. The whole process took him about 4 hours. He was not happy. If you have laminate countertops, I would give this sink a skip.
