Cozy

My daughter and I have enjoyed using our egg swing daily for the last few weeks; she says it’s cozy and relaxing. It wasn’t too difficult to assemble, but some nuts were hidden in the “screw covers”, so we thought the set was missing pieces. That process slowed us down a bit, so look really, really thoroughly for the pieces. The quality is not the best, but this time around I wasn’t looking for the best quality as it gets tons of direct sunlight and has to be replaced often. I hope it lasts 1-3 years. Just FYI, the swing is missing the major link on the chain that opens up to clip onto your stand. Thankfully, I had my old clip-on link. Cushions are reasonable, not super thick; just what you’d expect. Overall, I don’t sit in it for hours, so it will do. It’s a fun addition to our garden.

Assembly is a pain but chair is nice

This is one part mea culpa and one part caveat emptor. If I’d known this required assembly I probably would have chosen another product, but the price hooked me (on sale for Memorial Day). If you get this, I really recommend you use a 1/4 ratchet with a 10mm socket. There are 16 bolts with lock nuts and it’ll take you an hour using that little supplied wrench and Allen wrench. The plastic bolt caps may not fit all the bolts because some bolts may be too long (in other words the bolt caps are too shallow for those bolts that connect at narrower parts of the chair where the bolt will stick farther through the nut). That said, once together the chair feels pretty sturdy and the supplied cushions are comfortable and give good support up to an average height person’s shoulders or so.

I couldn’t get the covers to stay on the screws - but otherwise it’s good.

Comfortable and looks good.

Assembly was a little awkward with reaching the nuts through the frame, but I was able to complete by myself in a reasonable time. I found the back cushion too full; I swapped it out with a thinner cushion and the chair was more comfortable. It looks great. For women, one consideration is that a ponytail will kind of stick in the webbing.

Great Chair

Fantastic 'egg' type chair. We love sitting in it to read, or simply watch the world go buy on a gorgeous sunny day. The cushions are comfortable and easily stored when not using.

Super cute outdoor chair. My teen daughter loves it; it's her favorite hang out spot. Well made, durable, even on a Florida balcony. That's the true test.

Porch Necessities

Love my new porch chairs. They are sturdy and comfortable. Took a bit of time to put together but I made it happen. You can adjust the height of which you want the chairs to hang which is a huge plus for me.

Wonderful Hanging Chair

What fun! this chair is! good quality and sturdy. We put it on a stand designed for such a swing and I am loving it! It is sturdy and well-made. It was quite easy to assemble and it attached perfectly to the stand we had purchased.

Do NOT purchase unless you are ok with it rusting and corroding with the year. How can Overstock sell OUTDOOR product that rusts?! I should have left this review when it started to rust. Now it is corroded almost all the way through & Overstock told me it's past their 30 day return policy and they cannot do anything. Don't waste your money unless you are going to use swing indoors.

Great for a teen's room

We bought this for our daughter's room and it has survived beyond her normally short attention span... she uses it all the time and loves curling up in it with a book or her laptop.

I bought this chair for my teenage daughters room. Everyone loves to sit in it! Very comfortable for adults and kids. My favorite spot to read books. Great quality, very sturdy.

Great egg chair. Fairly easy to assemble and my son loves it. It says you shouldn't swing around in it but during a nice breeze it swings a bit. Comfortable

Cute and Fun

Super cute and fun swing chair. Good quality and very sturdy. The pillows are well made but the back pillow is a bit too puffy. It takes a while to assemble, but the the instructions are well written and easy to follow. Love the chair with my overstock rug.
