Good construction, poor flow design

I love the look and it’s solid construction. I dont like that the spray is concentrated and its stream is too strong and splashes all over when you put your hands under to wash them.You can lower the pressure coming in but lowering the hot and cold feed to make the warm setting have the right pressure not to splash means if you run the cold or hot singularly, there is not enough pressure.We bought the smaller version of this faucet for another bathroom and had the same issue and I thought the larger size would be different but it is not:(I wish they would do something with the aerator so it produced a wider stream. The beauty of the faucet is outshined by this stream problem.

I really like this faucet because of the swivel and the push lever for the drain cover. The faucet is well manufactured and easy to install.

Stand out finish but gets fingerprints easily

The lever for on/off is too delicate

"Okay" to install both that I purchased on separated sinks.I could have used a longer water supply line as I had to buy another and link it to reach existing compression fittings / water lines originating under the sink. Requires some knowledge, and some basic tools for installation. Key to sink trap is critical tightening of lower trap's nut with channel lock pliers or trap wrench. Instructions are picture oriented, few words but easy to follow. A higher priced unit, but appears well made and it's useful life will now outlive me LOL.

Looks very elegant. But when you use it it sprays water everywhere outside the sink

What a Beauty!

This faucet is such a shiny, nice addition to our guest bathroom. I had issues to find one that fits the space and matches the look of the other stainless steel appliances we have, but here it is! I am so glad we got it installed.

Great update

This faucet was installed in the main bathroomand I'm very happy with the look andperformance. Previous faucet was a two handleand this single lever model was a phenomenalupdate. Very quick and easy to adjust waterwith this one. The look is very unique compared to most. Installation was typical forthis type of faucet. Overall an excellent choice !

Great Product to install and complete instruction

The faucet was added to a new bathroom counter. all part came individually wrapped to protect the finish. Parts did have to be assemble but with the instructions there was no problem. Did have to purchase the plumber's putty to assure a complete drip free

Beauty and water savings.

This is a beautiful addition to the bathroom. Looks sleek and the Starlight Chrome is rated to be scratch resistant. It operates smoothly and the flow is impressive for a water saving faucet (1.2 GPM). I especially like the all brass body that will give years of operation. Installation is a breeze with everything included in the package except the bedding of your choice for the drain. The included lines are adequate for most installations. If your supply lines come through the floor and are short, you might need a couple of extension water lines. Measure first.

Could not ask for a better bathroom faucet!

From the beautiful, simple design and ease of use this one can't be beat, but there are two things that really make it stand out to me.The ability to move the faucet direction in the sink is such a great feature, we are used to having this feature in the kitchen but never had one like that in the bathroom. Makes cleaning up after brushing your teeth or just cleaning the sink much easier.Also I can't forget to mention being able to adjust the angle of the water coming out of the faucet so it doesn't hit the back of the sink....nice not to have to put your hands all the way at the rear of the sink when you wash them.....very well thought out faucet!

Great faucet!

When I first saw this faucet, I really liked its design. After installation I like it even more. It does look great on our sink, but I especially love how the water flows from this faucet and doesn’t have a lot of splashing and excess spray as the water comes out. We installed it in our guest bath and I have already received many compliments on it. It was easy to install and the directions were very straightforward. I am thrilled with this faucet and am glad to show it off in our bathroom.

Stylish addition

The Starlight Chrome Essence bathroom faucet is a stylish addition to our guest powder room. We wanted a single hole single handle faucet for this guest bath that was stylish and also practical. The Starlight bathroom faucet looks elegant and was very easy to install. We highly recommend this faucet.

This product was easy to install utilizing the hardware that accompanied the faucet. It’s sleek, easy to use design is great. The water pressure in this handle makes it ideal for hand washing, tooth brushing and every day use.

Excellent single-hole faucet!

I replaced an existing faucet in a 4-inch spaced, 3-hole vanity. This is a very high quality product. It looks great, and feels as if it will outlast the rest of the bathroom. I would have given it 5 stars if I had installed it in a single hole vanity top.Unfortunately, when I installed it with the matching 6" Escutcheon to cover my 3-hole surface, I found it extremely difficult to get it to mount in a perfectly vertical position -- it tended to want to lean towards the right where the mounting nut gets tightened under the counter.I will say, that for someone who rarely reads directions, I almost found myself wanting a few more written instructions. The international diagrams were really quite good, but I found out the hard way that maybe I should have installed the drain handle mechanism into the back of the faucet PRIOR to mounting and tightening the faucet (as the diagrams seemed to have indicated).Again, I love the look and the quality of this faucet and I'm glad that I chose it. I may end up moving it to a single-hole vanity top in a new basement bathroom that I'm working on.... Then it will be perfect! Less

Simple and yet beautiful!

I needed a new faucet in my basement bathroom and so I went with this one. It stepped up the beauty in my bathroom. It was easy to install and I love the simplicity of it. If I can install it anyone can! I simply wipe it free of any water splashes I may hit it with and it keeps shining.

Another Grohe winner.

I recently installed my Grohe Essence OHM in my guest bathroom in my home in Boulder, CO. What a touch of elegance! Installation went quickly, no problems or guess work, great for the average handy man. Solid, beautiful but what was exceptional was the feel of operation. Precise control with sense that this unit will last forever. I would recommend it for any bath that works cosmetically.

Clean elegant design and smooth operation

Much easier to install than I anticipated, everything you need is included and very clear instructions, the tubes were even long enough so I didn’t have to buy extra.I wanted to replace the master bathroom builder grade faucet with something taller and an easier to use handle with a more modern look, this is exactly what I wanted. I also noticed during installation this thing was heavy and well made and it becomes apparent when using the handle to turn on the water, smooth and easy operation with a better flow control. It also uses the rod to open and close the drain so you dont have to put your hand in the water to drain the sink.

Nice sleek well designed bathroom faucet

This sleek, modern one-handle faucet helped provide an updated look to our hall bathroom while we await a new vanity to be delivered. The installation of the one-hole faucet was easy and I look forward to re-installing it once we have the new vanity. To secure this faucet in place, Grohe uses an innovative 13mm nut which can be quickly slipped over the single mounting stud by holding the nut at an angle. Once in position, the nut is then aligned with the stud and is tightened with just a turn or two of the nut. The water flow from the faucet is just right - not too soft and not too strong.The faucet has a nice feature in that the angle of the water stream can be easily adjusted with finger pressure by slightly moving the aerator between 3 different detents. With a keyed washer inserted between faucet base and head, faucet head can either be held in a fixed 90 degree position or allowed to pivot 150 degrees side to side. Overall, a very nice versatile faucet for the bathroom!Installation notes:Inserting the top piece of the faucet into the base unit requires a firm push. The sink drain unit is metal with the top of the tailpiece threaded into the drain assy. Make sure the tailpiece is secure and does not loosen when tightening the nut on the trap. Teflon tape on the threads of the tailpiece may help to ensure a good seal. Less
