Received a kit that had "quick connects" that seemed intended for a specific model of ceiling fan. However, I just cut those off, stripped the wire and the rest of the installation was great.

When I ordered this I was under the impression that it was a full ceiling fan. The components that were there were not even large enough to replace the hardware components that I already had. I want to return it and plan to do so. If you would like just light covers than they are really nice quality but it wa not what I intended to order

As Described, No Bells or Whistles
This fan light kit is exactly as it promises to be ... a decent quality, BASIC fan light kit. The color is a darker brown/bronze as pictured, there are three spots to place traditional, glass light bulb covers covers (they hold ours securely), and the pull, while unadorned, works as its supposed to. If you need something basic as we did then this is the way to go; however, do not expect it to be fancy or have an extras. For the price, it is a good, solid buy.
Nice light Kit
Beautiful light kit with frosted light shades. It was very easy to assemble and attach to an existing ceiling fan. The picture was accurate for the color, too! I would recommend this kit if you are looking to add light to an existing fan.
