This is a replacement for a Hampton Bay fixture that is no longer available. This went in my barn aisle, one of five fixtures and you don't notice if there's a difference. I use LED bulb and it works and looks just fine, and it's less expensive than several alternatives.

Excellent quality for the price! I saw this nearly identical fixture selling for $200 and I'm floored at the price disparity. The inside surface is a clean white and I took a photo showing the base plate since I would have liked to see that includes in the description. Highly recommend

Not for use in residential

Just received this light today. The cord on this brushed nickel light is black. This was not depicted on the website nor was it included in the description online. This might be appropriate for an office, but certainly not for over a kitchen table. It looks horrible having a brushed nickel shade with an ugly black cord!

Great Hanging Light Fixture

Love my new 16" Pendant Warehouse Shade. My husband installed it easily as there was a previous hanging light there. We added a nickel chain to cover the black ceiling cord and a decorative 3" bulb and a dimmer switch, since the light bulb is exposed. So we can adjust from work to mood lighting above our 6' Butcher Block sideboard. Looks great in our kitchen! Highly recommended. And the price was much lower than the Big Box stores!

When I was looking to purchase this I couldn't find the answer to my question, so I thought I would post it here. I wanted to know if the cord is white when purchasing the white warehouse shade. Im happy to say the cord is white. I know the picture shows it as white, but other people said they received black cords with the other colors. Nobody mention the white one. We would buy again. These are nice.

We just updated our kitchen and needed a new light fixture above the kitchen table. We were looking for a modern looking item to compliment the new kitchen. Since we now have a stainless sink, and we changed our cabinet handles to brushed nickel, we thought this lamp would go perfectly and it does. It took my husband about 20 minutes to hang the new fixture. It comes with a long cord which we had to cut to about 12 inches long. We put a 100 watt spiral bulb in. Looks great. Very pleased and highly recommended.
