The fixture was fairly easy to install. The foam strip is a little awkward to apply, but ok. I guess it is designed to keep bugs out of the fixture. It is bright and looks good.

When replacing an old ceiling light in my kitchen that had bulbs, I went to this LED flush mount light fixture. My son recommended that I get one with LED and he was right. This light is so bright. I can see everything so clearly now. I would highly recommend this product.

Bought this light last month. The light is nice looking but after installation the installer took the covering out of the box latched and noticed a few hairline cracks. I couldn’t find the number for the company to ask if they could send me a replacement cover. So I’m stuck with the cracks.

Bought two, had to return two. The diffusers (lenses) on both were cracked. Really light weight plastic. Aesthetically the style was good. Just wish the quality was better.

This would be an excellent fixture if I had been able to obtain one in excellent condition. I am 83 with health issues and must hire someone to do things such as install light fixtures. I ordered this light and arranged for installation. Upon opening the box, the installer found the light very broken at one end. In addition to paying him for his time, I had to pay someone to return it. I reordered it, hired an installer and when opened, it was cracked on one side. Not being able to continue to afford paying people to install and return, I had it installed in its defective state. The light works and is bright. However, I shouldn't have to pay for a new fixture and install a broken one. I won't be purchasing anything from this company again.

Beware that lumens are NOT 3,300!

I ordered this particular ceiling light because I was wanting at least 3,000 lumens lighting for my kitchen. It has not been installed yet, but I am wary that I am not going to have the lighting capacity promised in the DESCRIPTION section. The product’s specifications clearly state 3,300 lumens but the box (picture provided) says only 2,500 (picture provided). We shall see, but I am not happy with the misrepresentation!

Don't waste your time

Don't waste your time. This light fixture is very poor quality. It arrived with the soft white plastic light shattered into about 20 broken pieces. Extremely poor wrapping to protect the fixture. I saw a similar review but dismissed it as a random act ànd ordered it. It is such a disappointment, I would not recommend taking a chance and wasting your time☹️

Not worth the price

I have some issues with this light fixture. First, the exterior "Brushed Nickel" frame appears to be wood with an adhesive vinyl tape that looks like metal at a distance. The fixture is not well packaged as the thin plastic diffuser is against the cardboard packaging without any bubble wrap for cushion. My diffuser arrived cracked. To their credit, the manufacturer was very quick to replace the broken part by sending an entire new fixture.

NOT BRUSHED NICKEL

The so called “brushed nickel” is flimsy wood moulding that looks like it was painted with a rattle can. For the price, I’d expect a metal frame construction, as the term “brushed nickel” implies. I had to uninstall and spin it 180 to hide the diffuser housing which had an ugly crack due to misplacement and/or over torquing of a screw during factory assembly. Not satisfied at all with the misleading description and poor quality of the build.

Great light bar

LED light bar from Lithonia lighting is really great quality. We recently upgraded my basement and needed new lighting. The slight bar has been a great upgrade and it provides lots of light in my dark basement. Installing it was easy as the directions were clear. It only took us about 15 minutes to install it and now the whole room looks great with this updated light bar. It is well made and really high quality.

Bright but soft lighting

The Lithonia Saturn flush mount light is a pretty efficient LED light and the style and design look great in my kitchen. The best part is there are no bulbs to change ever, and it features 2500 lumens of 4000k cool white light with 71 lumens per watt. This gives out the perfect lightly while baking in my kitchen and is an excellent upgrade from my previous lighting system. Lithonia has always been a reliable brand and the instructions and installation directions are always fairly easy to follow. Overall, excellent lighting system that is modern and contemporary in style and delivers a soft lighting experience. I would absolutely go with the Lithonia brand for all my lighting needs and would recommend to others.

Great lighting and style!

I really don't like the type of light fluorescent bulbs put out and have been looking for an alternative that I could install myself. I use LED bulbs in other types of lighting and appreciate the soft even light they put out. I decided to change out the existing fluorescent fixtures in my garage with the Lithonia LED surface mount fixture and I'm really glad I did. It was easy to install and the light it puts out is much brighter, but easier on my eyes. This has been a great decision and I'm going to start replacing all my fluorescent fixtures with the Lithonia line of lighting products.

Very modern.

This lamp is really versatile since it can be installed in different areas of a house such as an office, open areas and even in an apartment it would be very helpful. It gives off an illumination of 2500 lumen with only 35 watts, its LED technology makes it more durable by extending its life of use up to 50,000 hours and if it is taken care of it can last even longer. It is very easy to assemble and install and can also be embedded in the ceiling or left on the surface according to taste and need, its acrylic protector is of very good quality and quite thick but thanks to the finish it reflects light very easily. Its advanced LED technology makes it efficient and its lighting takes care of the optical vision, which is also important and that is why I recommend it.

Bright, Great Quality Light!

I got this light to replace my previous light, in hope for better lighting, and I got what I needed! This light has a great brightness. Thr materials its made of, makes it easy for light to show with much brightness. It was really easy for us to assemble it. It's a nice heavy duty light. I'm really happy with the quality of this light. The style and size is just so fitting. I really like having this light!

Just what I needed

My kitchen is very large and has the worst lighting of any room on the planet. I somehow ended up with a kitchen that has not a single window. I didn't build the house so who knows the reason behind that one. Anyways, I received this light and wow, what a difference! Normally I do all light fixtures myself, but this light is long and I had a hard time with it so my husband installed it for me. Now, Im not sure why I didn't notice when I got it but it was a pleasant surprise to find out I didn't have to go out and buy bulbs. It has integrated LED inside, so that was a major plus and helpful to my budget. I'm so pleased with the light I chose, now I'd like to redecorate my kitchen around it. It's beautiful, yet plain, and the light it gives off is perfect.

The light looks extremely attractive and the silver detail makes it look far higher class, it works perfectly with our stainless steel appliances. Nice lights, light weight and bright. Go well with mid century modern decor. The plastic lens and the wood frame (feels like balsa wood laminated) can be fragile. If you must have these lights be prepared and be patient to order several to get unbroken and undamaged fixtures. I recommend to store and not to home so you aren't fixtures returning damaged to the store. Shame on Lithonia for designing and manufacturing such a flimsy lens, and for poor quality control packing up damaged fixtures.

Originally I purchased this to install in my kitchen. Once I received it, I realized it was not going to be bright enough. I ended up installing it in my laundry room. This turned out rather serendipitous, since the result was such a vast improvement to the lighting in that space. It also looks good astectically. The trim around the diffuser is a little cheap and unfinished looking when viewed close up. It is actually wood painted silver. Once on the ceiling it is not as noticeable. Installation was easy.

The lighting looked great online and that is why i special ordered them and had them delivered but after reading some reviews about the damage. I rushed home opened the boxes and guess what? One was shattered and the other full of cracks and both boxes were not damaged or dented from shipping. So, back to home depot they go and I will have to find another brand or fixture because these were special order and you are unable to check them until they are delivered. The plastic is super thin material and it wouldn't take much to break them. So, obviously Lithonia isn't check their lighting for quality and there is no real customer service to contact other than their email. So, it was a completed waste of time and gas. The only way i would buy these again if If they were at the store and I could check them out before I bought them but other than that don't waste your time.

I think this light is a great product for what I need it for. Great amount of light is emitted and it has a great look. However, as several pointed out in other reviews, there is a manufacturing issue causing many to have cracked lenses. They use a screw to attach an inside wooden support and the screw cracks the plastic lens. I needed 6 for my project and I have returned 5 due to this mfg issue. While they are easy to return with no hassle, the store is an hour away each time I have to make a return. I do recommend this product with the caveat about the manufacturing issue.
