Modern and sturdy. Try 2 different lengths though. Longer one over island and shorter one over kitchen table. Looks nice. The lighting from these is terrific. Ours is on a dimmer switch and we can choose low to high lighting which I'd definitely recommend.

These are beautiful lights for the price. Just wish the manufacturer had taken the time to seal the edges. The gap is disappointingly visible.

Perfect Size Light Fixture

The overall size and look of this light fixture is perfect over the kitchen breakfast table. The fixture arrived quickly and was very carefully packaged. Although 5 stem pieces were included, we only needed to use one. The brushed appearance is slightly different that our brushed stainless appliances, lighter silver tone, but still perfect for the space.

Exactly what I wanted

We ordered three of these lights for our kitchen. One to hang over the table, and two in the L shaped work area. These are exactly what I was looking for. Simple design, no plastic (all glass and metal), with 3 light sockets in each one for plenty of illumination. The installation is simple. They came with multiple down rods. One was about 3 inches long for a close to the ceiling mount, then 4 each of 10"-12" (I didn't measure) ones so you have plenty of options for how low you want the light to hang. The very top connector does have a swivel cut out, so these can be hung on angled/slanted ceilings. My only complaint is that there is no way to change the light bulbs from beneath. You must change the bulbs from above, which means if you mount this close to the ceiling I have no idea how you would actually ever change the bulbs. Very strange. Not a concern to me, since we won't be mounting them that close to the ceiling, but could be an issue for someone else. Overall I'm very happy with these. The price was excellent; they were packed securely, and arrived in great condition. In the picture shown we have used 2 of the longer down rods, which is perfect for an 'over the table' height.
