This drain assembly was packaged really well when it arrived to me with the tub. I love the fact that the factory actually cut the foam to fit the drain to reduce the likelyhood of it incurring damage during the shipping process. This is a very heavy duty drain.

The Studio S Freestanding Bathtub Drain Kit came with the Studio S 68 x 34 Inch Freestanding Bathtub Center Drain With Integrated Overflow. The kit will work perfectly with the tub. There was a slight hiccup with delivery, but that is all.

This drain came with the Studio Freestanding Bathtub that I had installed. I used a plumber for the install. The plumber said that the "entire package" was of excellent quality. That American Standard didn't "cheap out" on anything. He said with some manufacturers, what is hidden from sight is of lesser quality, s He said I made an excellent choice and it should last for "years and years.". The drain was a necessary part to complete the install of the tub. The quality is excellent consisting of chrome over brass. The drain hole is located in the middle of the tub. I appreciate that the "plug" part of the drain snugs up very tight to the tub so that why lying in the tub the plug is not bothersome.

This is the kit for the freestanding tub that I installed in our master bathroom. It works as advertised and is a requirement to use the freestanding tub. If you're considering the tub, you need to get this kit. It works great, installs like any other drain kit, really. Pretty easy to do for anyone with normal plumbing capabilities.

Drain assembly was packaged very well in a cardboard box with foam cut to match the fit of drain assembly. Protecting it ans the finish very good. Drain went together with ease and easy to follow instructions. Good quality, thick and heavy i feel it will last a long time.

American Standard does it again…delivers another great product. The fit and finish of this product is better than previous models. The shine to the chrome finish is exceptional and the quality of the gaskets are sure to last a life time.

Leaking from first day

I finally had my tub installed this week, and this drain is slowly leaking from day 1. I'm hoping American Standard will be able to fix this easily, but I'm going to end up paying my plumber more money. Very disappointed.
