We remodeled our bathroom tub/shower nook and wanted to equip the shower with an excellent, high quality swivel head shower with an adjustable water stream. We know that Speakman products are high quality, precision manufactured products that are made of brass with a high shiny chrome finish. So that's what we installed and the Speakman Arn and Shower head make for a really high end installation. Highly recommended!

You can’t go wrong with Speakman shower heads

We’ve had Speakman shower heads for years. I love it. Simple. Sturdy. This time, i purchased an eco version. Water pressure is slightly lower than i’d want, but it’s barely perceptible. I’m being a prima donna here.

this is our second speakman shower head. Our first had 5 jets around the outside and needle jets in the middle. We think this model is far superior because of its simplicity. Six jets are easy to adjust and they stay cleaner that our other model. we have the 1.75 GPM model and it has plenty of pressure/force. We really like this model.

Great shower head

A classic, great quality simple design, basic comfortable spray. No fancy pulsing or rain spray, just a satisfying adjustable flow. Very solid materials.

Excellent build quality. Excellent fit and finish. My complaint is that it's supposed to be a high velocity head. It is not. Even after removing the flow restrictor, water flow through the head is anemic at best. I understand they have to comply with government regulations limiting GPM, but there are ways to increase the velocity of the water. This is not that type. However, if you want a very solidly constructed and attractive shower head, you'll be very happy with this one.

Average shower head for the cost. I do not find the pressure of this head to be any greater than the head I bought from my local energy provider that it replaced. At it's highest pressuer setting it spreads the water in a rather large circular pattern. In my case, I also noticed that this high pressure setting restricts the hot temperature of the water coming through the head. When adjusted down the water pattern is closer and the temperature becomes hotter. Strange. It's an attractive head and it functions fine but not worth this much money.

This is a great shower head, and works really well for those with less than stellar water pressure. The adjustment is smooth and the finish looks great. HOWEVER, the face plate of this shower head fell off as soon as I removed it from the box. Had I spent 15 bucks on this, I would chalk it up to being a cheap item and let it go. This thing costs a hundred bucks. Its "premium", so I have higher expectations. I expect the fit and finish to be there, and not to have to reattach the face plate when its brand new.

I previously owned a Speakman unit in my previous home...which we really likes. But that was 12 years ago. This unit, S-2251 is not what I thought Id be getting. Yes, very well made. Nice and heavy, brass interior and easy to install. The performance has a lot to be desired. 1. Pressure change feature. It goes from just ok to spread out all over the place, making rinsing out shampoo a double the time situation. 2. So I thought it might be that pesky water flow price of white plastic that hundreds of reviews wish were it there...because I think it screws up this well made product. But after reading how u loose total control of the units pressure if u remove it, I begged out. 3. Lastly, u need to uninstall it to clean it out ( if needed). Why can't u do that thru the front Speakman engineers? Looking for a better mouse trap, after 22 months.

Beautiful shower head with 360 degree head adjustment. Love Speakman and recommend to all my friends. Only issue is that the inner cover fell off after a couple months. It just has a mild adhesive and it seems to have succumbed to moisture. Imagine that...moisture in a shower. Assume it can be fixed with some super glue or silicone....just have yet to put it back on the shower head. Hopefully it is not a precursor to other internals being sub par. One would hope not....it's a Speakman.

Easy installation. We removed flow restrictor (simply pull out with needle nose player) and get great water flow. Highly recommend this product.

After spending thousands renovating my bathroom and installing high end hardware, my first shower was a huge disappointment. I did not bother to read up on flow rates on shower heads and ended up buying a very expensive part that only put out 1.7 gallons a minute and was restricted by a flow regulator. The result was a shower head that barely wet anything. As for water conservation, if you have to take a shower twice as long to get the job done, then it's not conserving anything. My old cheap shower head that cost me probably $25 and lasted at least 20 years put this new head to shame. After reading the reviews here on Home Essentials Direct for the Speakman S-2252 I decided to give it a try. It was well worth it. For half the price I got a nice adjustable shower head with a 2.5 gallon output. I also decided to remove the small black "O" ring which gave it a substantial boost in power. the ring is easy to pop out with small screwdriver like the type you fix eyeglasses with. You can always pop the ring back in place if you feel it's too powerful, which I don't think you will. this shower head is a keeper and it comes in a nice variety of finishes.

For all of the hoopla surrounding the reviews I read I suppose I was expecting more than I received...or am I missing something? Is it probably the best built, heaviest shower head I have ever installed (and I've probably done at least a dozen in search of the perfect flow)? By all means, but I don't understand all of the hype. The one reason I bought it-allegedly kick butt flow-I have yet to find. Of note, I haven't tampered with the flow restriction device yet but I didn't think I should have to on a product this nice. If anyone has any ideas, I'm wide open. Especially since I have waited too long and cannot return it any longer.

Surprised that ours is rusting. Not what we expected. Was unable to get replaced under Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Nice but low pressure

We had an old Speakman that went bad so we tried two different Speakman showerheads to replace it and we cannot find one that has the same amount of water pressure as our old one. For the money spent we are pretty disappointed,But it is quality made.

This is the total ultimate showerhead. If you want "empty the reservoir" water flow, "in my past life I was a fish", "niagara falls" showers... well baby, this is it. Solid metal construction, this thing weighs more than your shower fittings altogether. There's no plastic parts here. And, the water restrictor is, uh, "accessible". Just in case it requires "adjustment" with some needle nose pliers. (You full-flow shower-takers know what i'm talking about.) Seriously though, this thing is the bomb, comes with the thickest teflon tape I've ever seen, and install was a breeze. you can literally put it on with no tools. You will not regret getting this, and you wont have to make another showerhead decision after this because it's so solid, it will outlive you.

The 6 function luxury shower head from Aqua Elegante, the Wantba 6" high pressure rainfall massage, the Speakman S-2252 Anystream, and the Delta 75152 single function shower head. Speakman: Pros: Good pressure, solid construction. Decent coverage Cons: It is heavy, so caution required when installing. The adjustable settings doesn't change the stream significantly and it is far pricier to comparable shower heads Get this if: you care about an all metal construction and want a high pressure shower and don't mind spending the money
