Perfect. When I ordered, I was a little worried the flow rate would slow too much. But its unnoticeable. The best is the filter. New to hard water, I didnt even realize what was happening to my skin and scalp. Since using this, I feel so much better!

I decided to splurge and try a higher-quality shower head with some of the stimulus money. I'm very glad I did -- while my old shower head (3D printed) did okay, this one does a much better job of focusing the flow into fine needles of strong spray. It's been a while since I've taken a shower and felt the water spray combing the dirt out of my hair. This one (on the spray setting) does that. TL;DR: This is the opposite of those "rain" shower heads that gently drizzle water on you (and that's a good thing.) If your idea of a nice shower is being gently power-washed, this is for you.

Want to feel as if you are immersed in a downpour rain storm, this is the shower head for you. This is my second showerhead from Speakman, except this one has a filter in it. You can actually feel the difference between the filtered and non-filtered. My old showerhead (non-filtered) works amazing as well; however, I really like the filtered version. Very easy to install. I rarely use the massage feature, but it works very well. I bought these showerheads because I first used one in a nice 5 star hotel and fell in love with the way it worked and felt. If you like powerful showerheads, then this is for you!

Its an amazing shower head. Just like the Mariott. If you want to remove the flow restrictor, its not typical white, pink, or green its blue. You have to push it from beneath it after you remove the filter to get it to pop out. Fantastic purchase!

Exceptional water filtering shower head! It’s going 5 months strong and still gives soft water with 2 showers a day. Southern California tap water smells bad and has so many chemicals in it. My expensive blonde highlights start to look dingy and orange without soft filtered water. This shower head has a built in filter which makes my highlights last longer and keeps my husbands skin from drying out. For the price it’s an excellent deal! Easy to remove old builders shower head and replace with this. I got the 2.5 gpm and the water pressure is strong. Has several types of flow you can adjust, too. Polished chrome looks expensive AND gives filtered water. I’m back to buy one more for a second shower. I will not wash with any other shower head and dread washing my hair on vacation with no filtered water. Home Depot had filtered shower heads at 3 times the cost so I thought this was an excellent value. Water feels like silk and I use less soap and shampoo. Also, cleaning the shower is so much easier since there are no hard water spots on the wall and glass. We don’t need to squeegee every shower either. The water drys with no residue.

I have seen this brand in Hotels for the last several months and have always been amazed at the quality and force of the water from it. So I decided to check and see if I could get one for home -- sure enough Home Essentials Direct came through. This shower head is great, has great pressure adjustable spray and has a filter that is very easy to change when the time comes. I would definitely recommend this shower head for anyone looking to have a good pressure shower head.

Substantial, high quality showerhead. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. All metal, heavy, good chrome. No chromed plastic or junky parts. The filter works very well in our extremely hard water. After a year, still no crust!

I'm a 47 year old woman and it took me 5 minutes to put and replace this in my teenagers bathroom. We have low water pressure and this is used upstairs. My daughter loved it and was so pleased to get a decent or let say great shower in her words. Our old one might have just been clogged but it had no pressure. We get a lot of iron in our water...but it is filtered out with our system. It seems pretty strong...7 out of 10 for power ....which is a great shower for us. Quality seems good. I bought it because someone mentioned they have these in hotels. I am usually pretty impressed in hotels because of those shower heads. Please try it...I don't think you will be disappointed.

Haven't had it long, but handling it makes me think it'll last. I've installed plenty of cheap ones and this one has a different feel. It includes some vinyl tape for threads. I checked the filter change procedure, it's fast and easy. My skin didn't have the usual itchiness - and also not the slimy feel from a water softener. I doubt that it filters anything beyond chlorine. It would slow to a drip if so. As for the streams, the wide one is decent. It spreads a little wider than the head (which is bigger than the picture makes it look) with a decent amount of pressure. We left the regulator in since we have plenty of pressure. The narrow setting stays quite narrow. You can also have both on, but the pressure drops too much for my taste. Maybe without the regulator it would be ok. For me the two options are ideal - either should blast out shampoo and neither is strong enough to sting.

The Speakman shower-head is the best. We've used this brand for years. When they came out with a filtered head, we thought we'd give it a try. I have sensitive skin, so I thought it might be good for me to have the chlorine removed from the water. We were concerned that the water pressure might be less due to the filter, but not so; water pressure is as good as ever. The filter is easy to replace. I change it every 6 mos. (recommended) at the same time I change the water filter in my refrigerator (easy to remember). I'm very pleased with this purchase.
