Large shower head

Much larger shower head than appears in picture. Looks odd in my tub/shower unit. Like it’s output. I would recommend, but probably look better in walk-in shower.

I decided to splurge and try a higher-quality shower head with some of the stimulus money. I'm very glad I did -- while my old shower head (3D printed) did okay, this one does a much better job of focusing the flow into fine needles of strong spray. It's been a while since I've taken a shower and felt the water spray combing the dirt out of my hair. This one (on the spray setting) does that. TL;DR: This is the opposite of those "rain" shower heads that gently drizzle water on you (and that's a good thing.) If your idea of a nice shower is being gently power-washed, this is for you.

Good product

It takes a second or two longer for the water to get through the filter system when turning on, and a second or two to drain when turning off, but I'm pleased with the water pressure. I'm also hopeful that it helps with my hair in the long run.

Want to feel as if you are immersed in a downpour rain storm, this is the shower head for you. This is my second showerhead from Speakman, except this one has a filter in it. You can actually feel the difference between the filtered and non-filtered. My old showerhead (non-filtered) works amazing as well; however, I really like the filtered version. Very easy to install. I rarely use the massage feature, but it works very well. I bought these showerheads because I first used one in a nice 5 star hotel and fell in love with the way it worked and felt. If you like powerful showerheads, then this is for you!

Stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel in Tampa and they use Speakman Anystream shower heads. I could’ve stayed in the shower all day so decided to buy this shower head for home. It’s a simple change with significant benefit. Highly recommended!

This shower head was an incredible performer; we loved it right up until the selector knob sheared off after only 1 week of use. It's sad because it was a great showerhead; and we almost considered replacing it with the same, but just couldn't go through it again. BTW Home Depot was incredible about the return, and THAT couldn't have been easier.

Exceptional water filtering shower head! It’s going 5 months strong and still gives soft water with 2 showers a day. Southern California tap water smells bad and has so many chemicals in it. My expensive blonde highlights start to look dingy and orange without soft filtered water. This shower head has a built in filter which makes my highlights last longer and keeps my husbands skin from drying out. For the price it’s an excellent deal! Easy to remove old builders shower head and replace with this. I got the 2.5 gpm and the water pressure is strong. Has several types of flow you can adjust, too. Polished chrome looks expensive AND gives filtered water. I’m back to buy one more for a second shower. I will not wash with any other shower head and dread washing my hair on vacation with no filtered water. Home Depot had filtered shower heads at 3 times the cost so I thought this was an excellent value. Water feels like silk and I use less soap and shampoo. Also, cleaning the shower is so much easier since there are no hard water spots on the wall and glass. We don’t need to squeegee every shower either. The water drys with no residue.

Although I found this a bit cheaper somewhere else, I am very pleased with the filtered showerhead.
