I am short and have a very bad back. I need a stool to help me get into bed, especially if the mattress is raised up for the head and foot rests. I looked for 4 years before what I wanted and what I could afford finally matched up. Great job Wayfair. This was my first purchase but it won't be my last.

I am very pleased with the quality and the country of origin is Vietnam. The stairs are on an area rug so they wont slip. Being barefoot prevents a slipping hazzard stepping on the stairs. I am having shoulder surgery and the stairs are necessary to reduce chances of pressureweight on my arm or shoulder.

This step stool exceeded my expectations. It's a beautiful dark wood that matches my mahogany 4-poster bed and helps me climb into it without having to make a running jump. It's very well built, and a bargain for the price. I would happily recommend it to anyone.

I put it on my tile floor floor going under my bed. I stepped on the lower step. It went flying and i fell backwards and broke my back in four places. Beware.
