Not worth it

First I will say that I was not impressed by the tattered box held together by shipping tape. This did not happen during shipping. It showed little interest in quality control. Since the light just arrived yesterday, we are still giving it a chance. It arrived with a bulb in it already which was a bit of a surprise. I was also surprised at how small the lamp is. It is very petite. The white circle that you see around the front part actually lights up. This could be a plus or a minus for some people. Also, the padding in the clip is too thin to actually serve a purpose. It goes down inside the metal part, so metal is still what comes in contact with the furniture or shelf. I think I am being generous to give it a 4 star review; it is over priced for the lack in quality care.

yes, it worked for me!

I actually clipped this upside down on a shelf above my head and it works perfectly. I can reach the on off button much easier and the goose neck points downward onto the lower shelf giving off better light. By doing this, I was also able to make the cord longer, so that it would fit in the plug on the wall.

Great Lights!

I bought two of these to shine over a hobby table and they are great! Small, unobtrusive, but bright enough to light up my detailed projects. The fact that they are bendable helps point the light wherever you need it.

Would have rated this lamp "excellent" except for the flimsy power switch. It's a thin flimsy stick of metal and difficult to use. The lamp is stylish and very bright. The clip fits over wide edges, like a thick headboard.

handsome lamp

This lamp is very artistic looking and actually accentuates my desk. I needed just a little light to see my keyboard, and although the light is extremely bright, if I aim it away from my desk I can see to type and do other tasks late at night without having to use other light sources as there is a translucent space near the rim that gives off just the right amount of illumination. And I love the toggle switch for easy on and off.
