A fine portable lamp does not takes much space

The Eglo Burbank 54 .84 in. Black Floor Lamp with White Fabric Shade is easy to assemble and looks great. It took me less than 15 minutes to assemble it. An Allen key is included for easy assembly. The overall weight for the light is less than 10 lbs. The two support beams are made out of painted wood and the solid metal lamp base helps stabilizes the lamp. The transitional lamp design is clean and simple and could fit in most room styles. It is a good product but the price is a bit on the high side.

Eglo Burbank black floor lamp

This Eglo Burbank black floor lamp comes with a white fabric shade. No bulb included. It comes completely unassembled. Doesn't take long to get together and the instructions are OK, but not great. You can get a fairly good idea of assembly from the pictures. It comes with 9 parts and screws and an Allen wrench, so not extra tools are needed. Be certain to unscrew the black knobs on the sides of the shade and have the threaded part in the shade, not in the knob. The threaded part of the screw will go too far into the knob if you do it the other way around. The on/off toggle is at a nice distance from the floor and you don't have to bend over to get it from floor level to turn on and off. It's about half way up the lamp. Great studio lamp or reading lamp.

VERY STUDIOESQUE

This is a surprisingly light weight lamp for the cost. The base is more than heavy enough to keep the lamp stable because the side rails and fabric shade have very little weight to them. The unimposing look of this lamp allows it to fit in just about any decor. Assembly is easy and the one page of instructions are easy to follow. During assembly, do not remove the two existing screws in the bottom of each rail. The bottom plate should be attached using the small hex screws that come with the lamp. One great feature of this lamp is the cord, which extends 8' beyond the base of the lamp.
