Beautiful tub

Love it!!! Nice and deep.

Can’t recommend this tub enough. So beautiful installed and the delivery driver was super nice and easy to coordinate with.

Tub filler broke

I have the same issues as brought up by other reviewers. I rarely use the tub and yesterday when pulling the knob to switch the water to the hand held spray, the top half of the faucet disconnected from the bottom half and water went everywhere.

GO SEE IT FIRST - VERY LOW QUALITY

When this tub was installed in our master bath reno we immediately asked it be removed and replaced with a higher quality product. Beware of Acrylic (hollow) designs, 2 piece being the least "sturdy", 1 piece a bit better but still hollow and cheap feel when you get your hands on it. If this doesn't matter to you then it is a great looking tub at a relatively low cost, particularly with the fill valve combo.

Very bummed!

Bought in February but due to COVID, contractor became severely delayed by eight months. When we opened the box there was a good size chip on the outer rim. Unable to exchange due to the time we had it.

The item is a perfect size and it has a clean design! Highly recommend

Tub Filler Unusable

The tub looks great but the filler is unusable. The supply lines protruding from the bottom of the filler column are not long enough to extend past the bottom of the subfloor. Additionally, the threads on the supply lines and the associated T-connector are not a standard NPT size. Speaking with American Standard customer support I was told that no extenders are available and that the parts were actually intended for a British market. No plumbing supply sources in my area are able to fashion extenders with available components. I have to purchase another filler to complete this bath renovation. I am very disappointed with the American Standard brand and lack of support.

filler leaks after a year

Just crap tub filler leak's at valve after a year, tub stains never able to clean holds body oils and soap scum all recommended cleaners used no harsh abrasives ever

This tub was delivered with no problems and is exactly what we were looking for. The two piece design made it easy to install and it looks beautiful.

Installed 2.5 years ago, would do it again.

I love this tub. We're moving now and I'm already looking to where I can buy another and put it in our new home! We have 6 people in our family and we all fit-- just kidding. Pros: SO easy to clean, looks beautiful, comfortable to soak in. Cons: doesn't keep water super hot (I might look into filling the base with some sort of insulation next time as this might help retain heat), and the faucet needs to be real close to it or you get water all over (duh). I love this tub, would buy again.

The tub met my expectations, it looks great. The tub was not difficult to install but the filler was very challenging. The filler was designed to be connected from the floor below the bathroom. My plumber was able to do it from above the bathroom floor but it was a two person effort.

Exploding Faucet Blasts Water Across Bathroom

We purchased the American Standard bath tub and faucet in September 2017. As soon as the shower lever is pulled to activate the shower, the entire head of the faucet blasts off and water gushes and sprays across the bathroom. The bath has only been used about 20 times and I am extremely disappointed at the complete failure of this product.

Actually like the tub. Was surprised to see it was a two piece unit when it arrived. Nonetheless, good size and fairly easy installation. The fair rating is because it has a quality defect. Did not really notice it until after installed. The rippled texture that is on the tub floor crept up the side of tub on a spot. You can tell it is not supposed to be like that. If it was just that it would be OK but the white finish has come off the spot in several small areas with black color. looks like dirt but is actually the tub material under white coating. Is there any way to get white coating back on that would not look bad?
