This thermostat is identical to a thermostat in a wall heater that I have that failed. I removed it from the baseboard heater metal and installed it in my heater. Exact fit. Works great.
Never shuts off
Old single pole (White-Rodgers) circuit would open and cut power when room reached temp. This Cadet single pole never stops heating - power never cuts at temp. Confirmed using multimeter.

Home Depot seems to suggest that this thermostat works with the Dimplex 60 in. 1500/1125 Watt 240/208 Volt Linear Convector Baseboard Heater that they sell and which I bought). Didn't think it looked right, and it wasn't. Not even close. Seems HD doesn't even SELL the thermostat that is REQUIRED for this series of heaters. What? Selling something that cannot be made to work without going elsewhere for parts?! Really?!

I ordered these and still have not received them. It has been 3 weeks and 2 days since ordering at the Clinton Iowa store.
Works fine on 1 heater but doesn't on the other. Same heater by Cadet but 2 different outcomes.

When I ordered it I thought i was ordering a double pole thermostat. Nowhere on the app did it say it was a single pole thermostat? So I assumed it was a double pole. And when I tried to return it at the store there was something wrong with the computer system. The person told me to call 1 800 Walmart.
