I recently had a new deck put onto my pool. I knew the steps would be hot to walk on, so I looked for something to use on them. I selected these stair treads and am glad I did. They give a great look and keep our toes comfortable when it's 90 degrees outside.....

Why did I wait so long?

Why did I wait so long to buy these stair treads? I think I was concerned that they would slip and therefore add to the problem of my children getting hurt on the steps. I was wrong....they stay in place and provide a safe, attractive cover to our 2nd floor stairway. #sweepstakes

They don’t lay flat, and don’t have a particularly rubbery bottom. I am hopeful and will follow up to see how they are long term!

Bought for hardwood stairs so it would be easier for my dogs. They're not very pretty or trendy, but they do work. They stay put when you're walking up and down the stairs.

First of all the 30 inch width makes a HUGE diffference. The color is perfect and trendy. I replaced this with vinly stair treads that were 24" wide and oh my.. what s difference. This looks very homey and finished. Very light and airy.. but functional and easy to clean.

These steroids are actually indoor outdoor rugs which I really didn’t realize until after I had gotten them, but they are a great size. Great, sturdy quality rubber backing that stays in place without padding the design help trap dirt in the rug instead of on your floor I have had these for several years now, and they are still holding up and look exactly the same as when I first bought them.

The stair treads look great. They are safer than just the wooden stairs. They can be lifted up to clean the stairs, they are rubber backed. I love them.

These steer treads are really attractive period There's so much better looking than the standard black treads. I was very happy with my purchase.

Love these it helps my littles not slip on our stairs. The treads don't move too much but still do a bit. I will need to purchase something to keep them in place. I'm fine with that! Great purchase and great material.

We needed to provide traction for our elderly Lab on our uncovered, finished oak stairs. Our motivation was no damaging hardware was needed for instillation. But sadly, the treads migrated from the original desired placements even after applying the Stair Tread Instillation kit. The treads now remain in place since I applied double sided carpet tape to the short sides of the treads with the Stair Tread Instillation material spanning the middle section. I'm now happy with the treads. They provide traction for our Lab, the stairs have incurred no instillation damage, they remain in place and look great. I would only recommend these treads with stipulations, (additional methods to prevent movement).

Excellent product, it stays in place on the stairs and easy to clean with water. If I ever need more this is what I would buy and would recommend to others.

The size is very small, and it doesnt adhere well, posing a risk of slipping. Not as effective as expected for ensuring safety. Would recommend looking for a more reliable solution for indoor and outdoor steps (

These are Great !

We bought these stair treads to provide traction on our hardwood stairs for our elderly dog. They work great and stay in place. They stay clean looking. Our dog is a 60 lb. English Springer Spanial.

There is always a question of the quality when buying sight unseen and I was not disappointed. There are lower cost stair trends available but, I avoid Chinese made whenever possible for better quality.

I have multiple versions of these treads and mats in our home and have been very happy with the quality. My only complaint is these have not been gripping the stairs very well, so I will need to put a bit of rug tape down to keep them in place.

Heads-up that the color is "salt and pepper"

I ordered the Bordeaux color online and was surprised to find that there was a fair bit of "salt and pepper" gray in the tread rugs. Not a huge deal for my primary purpose (using two to "carpet" a small closet), but not ideal for my secondary purpose (using two to protect the wood floor between the front door and my blue and maroon area rug). Quality-wise, the tread rugs seem very nice.

the stair treads were probably fine based on the reviews but i didnt choose the right color.they were a more duller color than I was expecting. so I did a return. ...BUT you did not ship them in a box /all 3 each came individually wraped in some thick plastic where I could not check out if the rubber bottoms stick as well as reviewed. ...BUT the only really big problem is that i could not ship them back for the $44 dollars you said it would cost me( which is already exorbinate ) Shipping in a box of 1 or 3 would cost 74 or 78 $, Fed Ex or UP And the original return labels were for FedEX which would not send them w/o the 3 boxes. for the 3 return labels And UPS the chepest way was all 3 send in the plastic the way you sent to me and that was 22X3 = $66 that almost 40% the entire amount I payed for the stair treads. You should refund me at least the amount above $44 which is $22. since it your fault to not send the items in a box especially a a single e box would have been good PS It is clearly in huge bold letters inside the plastic " ship UPS only" & yet you want it sent back ( exspensive Fed Ex route)and I did not pay for any expedited shipping to me. i picked the cheapest way and waited the 5 or 7 days

So far these have been great! I bought them to help my dog who kept slipping sprinting up our deck stairs. They seem pretty grippy and havent been sliding but I do plan on taping them down with carpet tape just to make sure they dont move.

Like thickness and quality. Due to no adhesive they migrate to angle of riser. Better that than tip of stair. Previous ones had “ easily removable “ adhesive which ripped off paint. They do grip to the stair fairly well.Good luck with which direction to go!
