[Rewarded Review] Easy installation!

Needed a replacement for our front door lock set and this was perfect! Had Home Depot re-key the Tumblr to match our house keys and had absolutely no problems. I had this thing installed in 30 minutes after removing it from the box. The old one was over 20 years old and was starting to show signs of wear.

I replaced a five year old set of the same style. Works well as promised. Will replace all five exterior doors with same brand based on the quality of your product.

One of the priciest models but very poor quality. Components looked cheap and didn't fit securely. We returned it to the Napa store the day after we tried to install it; we reused our old door lock and handle after a light spray of paint. The Home Depot counter person was pleasant and credited our card with no problem.

I buy 2 or 3 houses worth of your products every year, and your brand is the best quality. However, I was recently sent the wrong screws with a front door set I purchased. It appears you are changing over to a larger head screw for your deadbolt sets. What I assume to be the new recessed inside cover allows the bigger screw to be recessed and the inside handle to have clearance for operation. The set I purchased had these new large screws but a standard inside plate. My problem was that the latch would not clear the screws

I am handicapped and this door lock system has been an enormous help to me. I can remotely control who has access to my home without any hassles with struggling to get to my front door. Bought this to replace an old one on the front door that who knows how old it was. Schlage has always made good locks that’s why I went with this one, wife picked out design, overall great product.

I bought this to replace the exact same model. The only problem was the latch is not as wide as the former latch. So the door didn’t seal as tight against the frame.

Great product! Super easy install. The latch opens and closes super smoothly. Looks great as well. I’m at the point now that Schlage door knobs are all I buy. Worth the extra money.

I have Schlage locks and handles throughout the house. For the most part they have performed...BUT... THE front door handle and catch had to be replaced a2nd time in 20 years averaging about 8-9 years until it becomes defective. I would have purchased a different brand but it would have been a challenge to match a different brand with our front door..... so another$149 down the rubbed for a Schlage front door handle

I bought this for my new entry door. It looks fantastic! Everyone is admiring how nice it looks on the new door and really enhances the whole entry way. The finish is perfect and works very easily. I love how simple it is to open the door by using the thumb depress instead of struggling with turning an outdoor knob, it is more comfortable for the hand. It was nicely boxed and all the parts were accounted for. The store was able to re-key the cylinder for my existing locks very quickly and easily.

[Rewarded Review] Deadbolt/ Lockset installed in my 92 year old door

It is unusually difficult to work on a 92 year old Tudor style home.y Years of wear, layers of paint, weather, including bitter cold, stifling heat and a half dozen hurricanes took their toll. Time came to remove the original lockset and replace it with the Camelot set with matching deadbolt. Installation was not as easy had it would have been with a new door, but through perseverance and patience I was proud of my accomplishment. I would say that handle placement fine tuning was the most time consuming, but the most satisfying.

Finish only lasted about 10 years!

Everything was/is good and it still works fine but after about 10 years or so now, the finish is almost completely gone. It is now an ugly yellowish color! I hate that I have to replace it only because it's ugly. I gave it two stars because it does work fine and it WAS nice at one time. The sad part is that I can't even send it back because I've misplaced the receipt. Is there a finish/color that I can buy that won't need to be replaced again in 10 years?

This is a good and a pretty product for its price. Our first one stuck after about 2 years. 2 or 3 times the handle would not turn, and i could not get out of the door. Had to call the lock guy. The monsoon sandblasted the finish off as well. The warranty seems to be good, but i had no receipt to send it back. We just replaced that set with a new one which This is our second one, so hope it lasts longer.

Literally broke after 6 months! Don't waste your time or money. For starters it was a pain in the butt to install. Things didn't line up the right way and the deadbolt wouldn't function smoothly. Made some adjustments & seemed to work fine and as plus it looked good too. Then we started having issues where it wouldn't unlock with the key unless you pulled on the door & worked with it for a few minutes to get it to unlock. Then the same issue started from the inside. Now its completely broken (Thankfully with the door locked & secured) and the key just turns & the lever just flips. Complete waste of money considering we're now having to buy a whole other set!
