Great Camp Fire cooking addition

The Can Cooker Jr. is a great addition to our camping meal planning. We are able to make crockpot style meals over the open fire. It's incredibly easy to have a nice juicy meal while out cooking. We get most of our recipes from the Can cooker website.

Great unit for the RV

Great unit keeps the humidity and smell down in the RV. I wish the bottom was a little bit thicker to help this burst heat, but that would all add more weight and I think they were trying to keep that down.

not clean

This not about the prduct as it worked pretty good. Not sure if it said used but not actually the problem.As it was not properly cleaned. Bottom stained bad. Actually not that hard put in a little Clorox and 24 hours latter it was spotless. Guess I should say before Clorox very little scrubbed out.

We went camping for Memorial Day weekend and met a nice couple in the camper next to us. They told us all about the Can Cooker. As soon as we got home I had to purchase one. As soon as it arrived my s.o. wanted to give it a try. He cooked Italian sausage, fresh cut green beans, and red potatoes in MOUNTAIN DEW! He put it all together right onto our grate over the fire pit. We let it go for about two hours total. Absolutely amazing!! If you camp as often as we do, this is a necessity! The Jr. made enough food for at least 6 people. I am so glad we purchased The Can Cooker!

Cooking anything you want

This cooker is great. I have cooked chili and stew and also chicken and dumplings. I have also cooked cabbage. Not really crazy about seafood so I have cooked other things. Just cooked chicken and dumplings last night OMG can't get any better.

We use it for shrimp bakes. Add potatoes, polish sausage, shrimp and cob corn. And let it cook ,excellent
