I got the rug in red and I really like the design. It does shed in the beginning, but that's part of it being non-synthetic. It's really great rug, that we constantly get compliments on!

Nice but Wrong color

This is a beautiful rug. Unfortunately it is described as red and is in no way red. This is very rust in color. I am still waiting on the approved free return label for the large rug but they will not honor a free return on the matching runner that I also bought.

Very pretty rug but it sheds a lot… constantly cleaning bits of rug from around it, extra vacuuming required and it doesn’t seem to be holding up very well.

High quality rug with great colors!

Great quality and colors. The red is a rusty red and the navy is quite dark. I love it!

Thick, substantial and colors are beautiful

This is such a lovely rug. The thickness is substantial and the colors are vibrant. It's so pretty that I wish I'd bought a larger one for a different area of the house.. And still might!

Great rug that will last a lifetime

I love this rug. I purchased the red color option for our living room and it really creates a warm atmosphere. The rug is soft and even thought the pile is low, it is wool after all, it has significant weight to it. So much so that we do not use a pad under it. The only draw back is that it does need to be vacuumed at least once a week, because as it is a wool rug, the wool with collect on the surface. However, it is in a high traffic area. Also, because it is wool, if you spill something on it, it doesn't automatically seep into the rug fibers. This is one of the main reasons I always choose wool if I can. Easy to spot clean.

I love this rug! The colors are very rich and the design is very detailed. It has a unique richness to its appearance. We have it in our kitchen and it wears very well.

Good price for the quality!

I have been enjoying this classic rug for months. It is pretty thick and soft underfoot, and the 8 foot length fit my oblong livingroom. Keep in mind the navy color is very dark--close to black--and the red is a rust.

The Red/Blue color carpet is a lot more muted and the colors more faded than in the photo, which is too bad, as I was really wanting the stronger, brighter colors. Otherwise, it's a fine carpet.

Carpet Shed so Much Wool

The rug arrived and it was really beautiful, thick and plush. Colors were a little different to picture but it was striking. We placed it under the dining table. It shed; it shed more and more. I vacuumed to try to keep up with it but great clumps of wool and fiber were everywhere and I had to empty the vacuum many times. Then I noticed a hole in it in less than 30 days. I am returning it. I don't want a replacement for fear of the same. I have had other wool carpets that shed but nothing like this. Looking at the reviews I think I must have just been unlucky. Overstock was extremely helpful. I actually ordered two carpets from Safavieh and the other one is stunning and perfect and does not shed at all.

Beautiful rug! The quality is very good for the price. I can not say much for the wear as I just received them recently. I feel as though they will be great!

This rug is more beautiful in person ! My son was wowed when he saw it . I was too. It is in my living room. I have purchased many rugs in my 74 years, all at substantially higher prices. This is a very good quality rug. The colors and design surpass the online presentation.
