Not a bad product for the money. I wanted it for my entry way. Didn't come with instructions. Luckily I was able to find them on-line at Home Depot com. The instructions were not clear either. Overall when completed it fits just what I wanted.

Great bench, storage inside is a bonus.

We love this bench. It fits perfectly in the little alcove and it really adds to the personality of the room.

Everything was easy to assemble the only thing is some parts came scratched that’s the only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars but other then that it’s a beautiful piece of furniture to have. Perfect size as well not to big not to small. And it’s good quality as well!

I would buy this again.

A Great bench for many uses. Being more "chair like" in it's design makes it more amenable to use in more than a hallway I think. It is a little top heavy so in that a little tipy backwards if there is no weight in the seat. I note this only for those like me who want to use it away from a wall. It is quite stable all in all and well built. I would buy it again without hesitation.

This was our second time to order. The first one had significant damage on the corner of the seat so sent it back. The second one had minor damage in same place. Kept it but will have to cover it up with black marker.

This bench turned out to be a great addition to our townhouse. The assembly was not difficult, though I would recommend having some spare wood glue on hand. The small tube provided was half dried up. The all wood bench is very sturdy and well made. The end assemblies are pre-gluded as well as the back. All parts to be glued have wooden dowels. Looks great, sits good and a great price. I would recommend a cushion for added comfort. I was very impressed with the quality of workmanship and what an attractive piece of furniture it turned out to be.

There were a few issues with assembly. Some parts needed to be glued together and the bottle of glue provided broke apart in my hands and was useless. The instructions were of little use. After using my own glue and assembly skills, the finished bench turned out to be very nice and sturdy. It turned out to be exactly as my wife was hoping when we ordered it.

You get what you pay for... Would not recommend this product

I read numerous reviews of this item from other consumers, that being said I took a chance and ordered it. It arrived in before the stated delivery date. While it is attractive, the amount of time it took for assembly was beyond acceptability. My husband is a QA Engineer, and from the onset he knew there would be issues. 1) difficult assembly, alignment off, 2) wood glue provided was hard, we had to purchase the glue in order to assemble the bench, 3) the wood plugs are smaller than the openings and keep falling out, if we glue than there is no way to make any adjustments or to dismantle if necessary, 4) cannot open or close the seat without it rubbing/dragging on the both left and right armrest frames. We'll have to sand and repaint in order to have smooth open and close capability, 4) multiple areas of red paint (attempt to make bench look older/distressed?).
