Expected better quality

I expected better quality for the price and brand. During installation I had a lot of issues getting the screw holes to line up. I also discovered that the back of the bench had the base (where the screw goes into) was pushed in making it unable screw it in. I emailed TREX as they will need to replace the back. As of today I have not heard back.

GREAT QUALITY

I'm very pleased with my Trex Charcoal Black Bench. It is very solid and great quality. Easy to assemble, all holes and screws lined up perfectly which seems to be rare these days. Assembly consisted of screwing on the arms and legs. All tools and hardware included. Came packed very well. The color and texture is as expected. Not Black, but a dark charcoal gray. I needed something that would withstand a very sunny location on my front porch. I expect this Trex product will do that, but only time will tell. i highly recommend it.

Nice Sturdy Bench

I ordered this bench for an alcove area at the front of our house. I wanted something that would stand up to the weather and require little or no maintenance. The bench is made of Trex, which fills the bill. The assembly was easy - it took me about 30 minutes. The bench is extremely sturdy and the hardware that holds it together (screws and bolts) look to be stainless steel. It even comes with an allen wrench tee handle tool to assemble it - although I found I needed to use my own long handle allen wrench to get the bolts as tight as I wanted them. To top it off, the bench is actually pretty attractive. I was worried that the the Trex would look too industrial compared to the old wood bench we had, but it looks great.
