Bench

I bought this for a Mountain house and it is absolutely beautiful. I already have the table and chairs and know how well they last so I’m expecting the same longevity from this Beautiful bench.

Assembly was difficult due to misdrilled holes by the manufacturer. This was the case on 2 separate benches ordered - different holes on different benches. The quality control on these benches leaves a lot to be desired. I expected a lot more from Polywood, as these benches are not cheap!

The color of the bench was just what I was looking for, it was the craftsmenship that was lacking. It was impossible to assemble because the drill holes were placed wrong. I could have drilled all new holes but the bench would have had all these extra visible holes exposed. I wish it had been better constructed. :(

Nice furniture and cushion.

Nice furniture and cushion, only down side was waiting the month to receive it. Once the order is placed you are at their mercy of when you will get the product. Was told they are very busy. If I was told up front about the delay, I would be able to make a decision on the purchase. My furniture came 2 weeks later than the delivery estimate and I did not have the bench for a planned party. They responded 2 weeks later by saying it has been delivered. Frustrating.

great bench! Looks terrific on my patio. Love the color. sturdy and love the 20 year warranty. HOWEVER, the metal bar st the top back of the bench back had to be pounded into the plastic by stomping on it. And, one of the screw holes was misaligned and I had to use another screw to get a better opening started.

Your products are first class. We have bought this bench, two lounge chairs with cushions and a small table. Super heavy duty and we are getting lots of compliments.

Perfect size bench

Really like the bench. Took only about 20 mins to put together with a screw-gun. Seems sturdy. Dressed it up with a cushion and a couple of outdoor pillows. Adds a nice touch in front of the house. Only con: wish it maybe had a screw cap or cover (not sure term I'm looking for) to cover the slight "well" where the screw goes in. Overall, very satisfied with it

USE A RATCHET FOR FASTER ASSEMBLY

First of all, it is worth the wait. This furniture was delivered to our farmhouse that is out in the middle of nowhere and they were able to find us!!!!! We put 7 pieces of furniture together in 3 hours. We used a ratchet for fast results. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the dining set we bought came with screw hole covers/plugs and looks so much nicer than the bench. The bench has open holes with no plugs. The screws are black on the bench, thank goodness. Luckily they are going in 2 different locations. A few pieces they forgot to drill the holes but we were able to get the screws in anyway. It is nice sturdy quality furniture. It looks like it will stand the test of time. We have done metal and plastic rattan with cushions and both became a mess over time. The metal wore down with heat and sunlight and the cushions constantly got soaked with rain and snow and were a complete constant nuisance. This will be low maintenance and hold up much better over time. Best part we are helping the environment by recycling.

I love the bench! It’s beautiful, comfortable and looks great on my front porch. However, the delivery was awful. My package was left at the very end of my driveway almost completely on the sidewalk. I just happened to look out the window and saw it there. Delivery was very irresponsible. For that reason I’m giving four stars.

Great looking bench. Just what I was looking for. BUT, POLYWOOD quality control seriously lacking. Whomever or whatever constructed the right side armrest/side supports did a terrible job. Front leg was reversed, holes miss aligned and the screws that attach the lower brace were inserted off center and protruded outside the legs. I fixed it and now it is correctly constructed. Left side was perfect.

This bench is perfect in our front yard. It is very comfortable to sit on and we gotten many compliments from neighbors!

The bench arrived quickly and well-packaged. No missing or damaged pieces. Slate gray color as pictured, a nice neutral shade. Straightforward to assemble alone, but a little tricky. Sturdy. One recommendation, start all screws, but don’t fully tighten them until fully-assembled. This will give you some “wiggle room” when lining-up or attaching especially the legsarmrest pieces. I “predrilled” the holes by starting the screws so the plastic holes were threaded, then backed the screws out BEFORE trying to attach the legsarmrest to the seat.

I purchased this Polywood bench in green to replace an old metal one that I had sitting in my front yard. It is perfect! Very sturdy. I’m sure it will last many, many years. Very easy to put together too.
